Same as above. Left message on answering machine that my Microsoft license had expired.

DANGER.... this number claimed all Microsoft software will stop unless I let them download their program....DON’T do it... number searches to website Support Support Services 365, and ATT E-mail Helpline, and SBC Global help....many others.  HUGE beware.

Done this ("played" with them) a number of times.  It's fun!  (I'm retired and have time on my hands.)  When the "IRS" threatened to come and arrest me I asked her if she could be sure they were big, hairy, burly guys with handcuffs and we'd have some fun!  She exclaimed "Oh my God" and hung up.  I still laugh when I think of her reaction.  Another time I returned the call and said I was an attorney calling for "Mr. Johnson" regarding a call he had gotten from this number.  The Indian-accented guy said "You're an attorney?" and I said "yes".  He hung up real fast.  I suspect he was one of the several hundred that were arrested in India last year.

I just got a call from these scammers.  I never pick up calls I don’t recognize, and when they leave a message that shouts SCAM, SCAM, SCAM, I just ignore them and block them.  I got my first scam call about thirty years ago.  That was the phony fireman’s scam, and they still call to this day.  A lot of these predators are offshore so it’s hard to shut them down.  I block them and they change their number, and we start all over again.
