Someone from this number is constantly calling me.  When I answer, they hang up.

two calls - second said "LL" company ...wants to confirm order, this weekend,  to be sent to South Africa.

someone from this number has called 4 times this afternoon - they are calling my fax line but even when I try to answer, no one is there.

called once and disconnected right away

They called and said "is this (my full name) and repeated is this (saying my first and last name) ? I did not acknowledge my name but said who is this???they said they were (a couldn't catch the name of what seemed like a charity) and I said take my name off lthe list. The woman whose name I did not get said they would. Then I called the number back and the announcement said "your call cannot be completed, this number is on hold and is not yet  activated please call again at a later date thank you"  SCAM sleaze parasites is my guess.

gotten called a couple of days in a row...I never answer. It only rings 2-3 times.

Keep getting calls from this number.  So irritating!!

The number keeps showing up on my ID as well as 855-660-8906.  Never any message, just hang ups.

How could this be legit?  Unassigned phone numbers?  A charity hiding it's phone numbers?  JUST DON'T ANSWER ANY 855 CALLS UNTIL THE CARRIERS FIX THE PROBLEM

This will burn your fanny - THE CALLED PARTY PAYS FOR 855 CALLS !!!!!!!!!  855 prefix is new and meant to be used by things like tech support lines.  Block all 855 calls.

Although area code 855 is not assigned to a geographical area, calls to any toll free number may be restricted by the customer. Other toll free area codes are 800, 866, 877, and 888.

The female caller said she was calling from a non-profit organization.  If it were legitimate, she would have identified the org.  My caller ID has been showing this number every day. 8/8/11

I bought a    DIGITONE 10 CALL BLOCKER   on the web.  It is awesome and I have blocked over 45 scammers like this one.  I have blocked entire area codes as well.  The quiet days are here again.  The best $100.00 I have ever spent !!

Um, that refers to when you call the 855 number back just like any other 800 number.

They call up to 3-4 time a day, never leavers a message, very irritating!!!!!! STOP CALLING
