I got one call who is it?

Called too early in the morning. Who is this calling?

I called the number back and got a recording from "Credit Management" I didn't stay on the line long enough to ever talk to anyone.

no message ..just a call
other sites have this listed also as a spoofed call

This number appears on my caller ID many times....I do not answer it.  How can they do this when I am on the do not call list?

Stop calling my number

A recorded message calls and asks if this is the phone number to reach someone. Press 1 for yes, 2 for no. Hanging up just gets a later callback. Pressing 2 gets an automated message that "we will verify this information with our records" (We? Who is "We"?). Given that the recorded message is requesting someone that does not live here and does not make any attempt to identify the caller in the message, I suspect the caller is a collection agency.

I received one call from this number on a Sunday afternoon.  I missed the incoming call, they left no message on my VM.  Called the number back, got VM that said, "Thank you for calling Credit Management...."

THIS DAMN # CALLS OVER AND OVER ALL DAY LONG..NEVER LEAVING A MSG...CALL THEM BACK TO GET A RECORDING SO I ADDED CALL BLOCKING SERVICE TO MY PHONE...I HOPE THEY DIAL MY # TIL THEIR FINGERS FALL OFF!! LOL!!

I have been called twice a day at various times from this number and they never leave a message. My guess is that it is a debt collector as I don't know of a real company or person who would consistently call like that. However I've been called before by a debt collector and they always leave a message so you know what the call is about, even if it's just the name of the debt collection company.

It may be some new tactic. Call and call from the same number and eventually a person's curiosity/annoyance will cause them to call back. I however am stubborn and have decided not to call back or answer simply because of the tactic used. They have been blocked on my phone.

Some [***] debt collection company calling a number (my no contract cell phone that I bought to use for emergencies) that the person with the debt hasn't had for well over a year.

As I'm legally deaf I don't use the phone but if I find out the name of the company that is calling I'll do what I've done for the other debt collectors that have been calling it - they get one notice to stop calling and then I go file a complaint with the state attorney general who loves to hammer these sleazeball debt collection companies.
