They called me yesterday and claimed to be my cell service provider which is Sprint. It was believable because they knew I had just reached 1 year of my contract. She said Sprint wanted to show their appreciation. I said, "I hope it's an early upgrade." She then said I could upgrade to any Sprint phone for $125.00. I told her I would accept the offer and she said I had to purchase the phone before October 5th. Strange thing is, she never asked me for any personal information and I was gone hook, line and sinker. I went to MySprint online and did not see the early upgrade. I then called Sprint(*2) and was told they were not doing early upgrades. Btw, she did mention something about iphone 5, so I guess that could have been the angle of the scam. I immediately said I did not want an iphone. Anyway, I'm just so disappointed it wasn't true.

I have been getting calls from this number too.  I don't answer numbers I don't know.
They never leave a message.  But I am also a Sprint Customer.  Interesting.
Maybe I will answer next time.
