Recorded message left on voicemail. This is Kate Brady. This is Kate Brady.  Please call 855-798-3383. You may not have gotten the notification regarding your student loan. We don't want you to jeopardize your prequalification status...blah blah blah.  They called from a spoofed number of 385-485-6820

I received a call from this number 855-798-3383 inquiring about my student loan. Kate Brady not sure if this is a scam never received a letter that she said. Check on my loan with my college everything is fine.

"And hi this is Kate Brady if you could give me a call back when you receive this at *phone number* and I'm calling because I'm not sure if you received a notice that went out recently regarding your student loans but in any case I don't want your prequalified status to change especially the qualifications for forgiveness or possible discharge so if you have a few minutes I'd like to go over details with you so I hope to hear from you soon thank you and have a great day." Definitely a spam number she called from a different number than she provided to call back.

Telemarketer left a voicemail calling about “student loans”

Got a call from 7087829596 that I screened and have in my voicemailbox. The caller identified herself as Kate Brady and said to contact her about student loan forgiveness at 855-798-3383.

I called and a man answered. When I said I was returning a call to "Kate Brady" he said she was only the outbound and immediately asked about the amount of debt I have. When I asked if he was associated with either the Federal Government or my lender he hung up before I finished my sentence.

Got a message from "Kate Brady" talking about pre-qualification for federal student loan forgiveness or loan discharge, and left the number 855-798-3383

I didn't return the call to the number she left
I also received a similar call from "Mia Torres" with the same script but a different callback number

Really wish that scam callers didn't prey on something as contemporary of a problem as this
