SCAM!!!! Claims to be Con Edison, and your electric will be shut off within hours if you don't pay them. Called our business. Con Ed doesn't even service our area. Reported to FTC.

I am an Investigator for Portland General Electric in Portland, Oregon.  This scam group has used this same phone number over 30 times today, calling our customers and trying to get them to pay their "overdue" bill with a pre-paid credit card or gift card saying a "disconnection" truck is on the way..........This is a scam....... Probably the same group who has been calling utilities throughout the U.S. using toll free numbers and recording your company customer service message for years. SCAM!!    Claimed to be Ever Source.. I asked them for any type of documentation and they told me I had to pay first...   Then they would send it.    I called EverSource and they said they have too many customers to call them and tell them that there service is being shutoff.   They just send the notices.
