Got the same phone call of someone needing to get in touch with me so I could obtain "legal documents." If I didn't get in touch with her between 3-5pm, I would miss a court date...
I just reported this incident to FTC via https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/#&panel1-1

Got this call today from a "legal process server" named Savannah Blackley but message was not left on my phone. It was left on a  family member voicemail. Like everyone else I will be served between 3 and 5. The message left was verbatim from the other posts. The number left for me to call back was 800-501-3028, Jeffrey Stanton.  So why are the numbers different if this is legit?

It's not legit. REAL process servers don't call to let you know they're coming as you could simply avoid them. They also don't give you the opportunity to pay your way out of being served, which is what they'd do if you call them back. Block and ignore their calls if you can.

Thank you. I did speak with the individual calling himself Jeffrey Stanton and yep, he offered me the opportunity to pay a substantial sum today to avoid being served. I feel better after seeing the posts here and your response.

Received a call twice stating I missed a court date, something about legal documents. I called the number which went to voicemail of someone by the name of John Mason. I just called and played their game and told them they were being recorded and my name was Teresa [***]...lol Needless to say they were mad and called me a smart ass...lol These type of scammers need to seriously be caught and prosecuted.

Yeah I got a call with the same message,  you know why?  because I didn't pay my payday loans there's no other reason for them to call. Sounds like you guys are behind on your payments and you're all here bitching well that's called playing the game.  they're going to do this to try and get their money.  Good. Luck.  Hopefully your families are understanding because if they can find relatives' numbers.. They WILL call them.

Since you are so knowledgeable, please answer the following questions:

    1. Who are they?  What is their full, legal name
    2. What is their legal address (no box numbers)
    3. What is the address of their website?
    4. In what states are they licensed?

We eagerly await your reply, the lack of which strongly suggests you are a shill for that phone number.

Same kind of call...you will be served between 3-5 tomorrow, be there or we will serve you at work.  They have been calling daily!  So I should have been served every day for a few weeks now.   I have had my identity stolen in the past and have worked with police and collectors during this sad event. So I have experience with real collectors. Companies on the up and up don't block their numbers, they do give an actual company name and real person to contact. Often times it is a law firm. If there is an actual court case, they give the county/city that the case number refers to, not "call us and reference this case number".  They don't call you to warn you about when you will be served.  You also can't pay to have them not serve you.  That doesn't do you any good if there is a legitimate case against you.  They get so many people to pay up with this scam.  They will call family members to scare them into paying as well.  It isn't hard to get your info online.  If you think there may be some legitimacy to this call, do a credit check, any outstanding issues/payments will be on there.  That is how I figured out about my identity theft problem after a real collector with credible information called me.

I received a call today on my cell phone from a private number which I didn't answer.  It was from a Samantha Cook telling me she works with an independent processor in Lavaca County and she she papers to serve me at my residence tomorrow between 3 & 5 pm and if she can not find me there she will serve me the papers at my place of employment.  She left me this 855# to call along with a case # to find out more information. She also called our corporate office looking for me along with where I work.
I had gotten phones calls just like these a few months ago.  They would call me everyday for 3 - 4 days they also called my parent's house and my ex-husband who I have been divorced from for 10 years.  No one every came to serve me any papers at my residence or where I work.  I do have a company working on my credit report to get my credit score up and negative items taken off.

I just had this same individual. Samantha cook call me today as well. The number she called from did not show. However she left me a 888-203-0819 and said the case number was p2439. She also, called my husband and said the exact same thing to him. It's a huge relief to know it was a scam.

I was like trying to figure it out..ugh! I wish they would get a real job and leave honest people alone!!
