I missed a call from this number that showed up as "no caller ID".  A voice mail was left for some other female name that was not me.  The person on the voice mail identified himself as Joseph Evans and stated that a complaint had been filed against this female and that it was urgent that she contact the firm at this phone number. He even included a "case number" to reference.  The caller ended by saying that it was very important to return the call or a decision would be made without her knowledge.
Mr. Evans never identified the company/agency/association by any name other than saying "the firm
Being suspicious of the message, I never returned the call but decided I should report it in some way.

I also received a phone call from the same number talking about the law firm. I will need to complain and report this immediately to the police. Talking about social security and court. This is a scam!

I was given 48 hrs to contact them or else.

Got the same message.  With no metion of company that they represent.

Had a message from someone named Gabbie to return call to 855-807-5730 that a complaint had been filrd against me and I had 48 hours to respond.  That I had been served.  No metion of the company or what complaint was made by whom. There are way to many phone scams out there now.  I have not received anything in the mail and that makes more sence because it could be tracked.

I got the same call today n no company just the firm

Received several messages and spoke to a Charles Smith regarding a complaint that was filed against me on behalf of Wells Fargo. He said I would be served and I've yet to be served.

Hmm, I received a call from them as well asking for another relative and saying they had received a court summons. There was no explanation as to why only a claim that a letter had been mailed out requesting documentation 2x and it was urgent she contact them.

***A company must be licensed in their state as well as the one they are trying to collect in if two different states are involved.

Some Tips:
*Keep all messages
*Take a picture of your Caller ID
*Keep any and all conversations recorded to your states recording laws, some require they be told, others do not. This can be transferred to a recording device.
*Keep a notebook handy for writing time,date, who you spoke with and what the conversation detailed.
*Check your SOL for your state as well.
*Attorneys need to be licensed as a DC to collect, all DC's must be licensed in their state as well as yours if different.
