Got a call from 8556224294 yesterday and left a message about a complaint filed against me, I need to call or a case will be filed in local court now again today 1-19-2016 same person different number 8558099516

Received a call at work from this number, they left a voicemail- said a formal complaint has been issued against [a recorded computer voice saying a woman's name- Laura something, no one who works here] and if I knew anything about her whereabouts, to call them, or paperwork would be filed against her.

Like I said, the name was no one who has ever worked here.

Same as Blanca - received a call from 855-622-4294 saying a complaint was going to filed against me.  They left a voice message on my work phone but with a different number 855-809-9516.  The information they gave me was legit. They provided me with information, I did not have to give them any info.  I owed on a payday loan that I did not pay since 2007. Please call the number back if you get a message. This is not a scam.

Blanca - you may want to call them to find out.  This company is legit, i called them back and I owed a payday loan I took out in 2007.

I'm pretty sure there scaming people using old information to get you to pay them for something that's not real.  If there's something filed against you a court will contact you not a "collection agency".  They said they had a bad check from 2013,two years ago, only that accnt was closed 20 years ago! They said they wld send paperwork yet didn't ask for an address...be carful.. I haven't wrote aNY checks so plz make sure you don't give them money

Good try,  "Ren." If you truly owe money to someone you will get paperwork through the mail.  Do not give these people a dime.  They have your information because some sketchy company sold your information to them.  I don't know how you people sleep at night.  Just remember..... Karma.

Also forgot to mention I tried calling back three times and someone wld pick it then hang up

I'm with joe. They trI'd the same stuff with me only I'm not buying it.  A court will send me paperwork if I did something wrong. Don't give them a dime of your money.

Yeah, you never handle financial or legal matters on the dang telephone like this!  They're trying to scare you into giving them your money for no reason.  Don't even speak with them.

I agree...I received a call from that same number and if a court filed paperwork against you....you will get served with it....you would not keep getting phone calls keeping you aware of it because a process server would be knocking at your door with the paperwork and if something is being filed against you....they don't want you to know so they can serve you at home and you don't know anything about it.  This number is a scam.

The same happened to me just 10 minutes ago. They want me to pay them but because I said I ll go to court because I know I haven't take any loan the hang up.

I've been getting calls from this number with the same message. It's very sketchy.. Every year around this time I get some of the same sketchy calls.. I think it's a scam..

They hang up when I told them that I ll go to court to find out about this debt that they were talking about. Don't know how there is people that called this kind a job " a job"

THANK YOU SO MUCH - I just cancelled my debit card that I gave them the information.  I feel so foolish.

Thank you for your reply.  I did take out a payday loan and they gave all my past employment information and current employer information. Thank you all again for replying, this really helped me cancel my debit card info I gave them.

Thank You all for replying to message boards like this.  I did cancel payment to that company.  The company name was Coastal trying to get money I owed for a payday loan parent company named Sierra Capital Riverside LLC, is what Heather Clark of Coastal told me.

Definitely NOT "legit".  If there's a complaint filed against you, you wouldn't get a scammy phone call about it - you'd get a visit from a process server - who doesn't call you to give you a heads up!
