Called to say they had a collection matter and wanted us to give our address for verification.  We refused.  Then, when asked what company this was regarding they said they were doing collection for Commerce Bank.  When we said we had no business with Commerce Bank so the information they had was incorrect.  They said, "Okay, well give me you birthdate and I will close the case."  I think this was a phishing expedition for personal information.

A debt collector for someone that does not live at this address.

We receive calls almost daily from this number with caller ID showing it as 800 Service. No voice mail is ever left on the system and we do not answer calls from unknown numbers.

When I have answered they ask if I'm available and if not to give me the message to call 855-811-1767 with a reference #. I call back from cell and they ask for my address for verification. I tell them that I know it is a scam. They wont tell me who they are then terminate the call.

Received 7 calls (5/13/15-5/29/15). No message and I suspected spoofing. Finally, called Northland Group's main number, (800) 800-8191, and verified they are a debt collection company and that 855-811-1167 was one of their phone numbers. Spoke with Mark Steele and determined they were trying to reach a deadbeat who is using my phone number. He assured me they would mark mine as a "bad number" and I would no longer receive calls. We shall see....
