This number belongs to Third Federal Savings and Loan

They claimed it was Third Federal but I am not so sure.  Since my equity line is auto paid from my checking account and since I pay more than 10 times what my monthly payment is, I know I am not behind.  They said they did not find anythng when I called the number but they asked for my full social security number to check further.  I highly doubt Third Federal was really the one calling.  Needless to say, I did not give out any information especially since, it seems to me, Third Federal would have asked for my account number and NOT my social security number.

Total Scam!!!  Do not give these people any information.  Automated answer makes it sound like it is Third Federal Collections.  Called branch office to verify that this is a scam.

Got this message to return a call. The man said he was from Third Federal. I am sure it was a scam since we do not  do business with them and the voice was muffled.

left message-Said it was third federal but read my and my wifes name like it was totally foreign to them. Did not sound legit.
However, I called and they asked for nothing more than my name, they read off my address and full name, then simply told me I had used up most of my grace period on my home equity loan. I now believe this is a Third Federal number.

SCAM...they will also pose themselves as your utility company.  Don't call or give them any information.

I received a missed call from this # and they said they were Third Federal Savings and Loan and this was a collections call . I have never heard of them. I called back and told them so. They said maybe someone had my # before? I told them No, I have had it for about 20 years. They did not ask anything more of me. 2 weeks later, I rec'd another missed call from them. I did not return the call this time. I cannot say if it was a scam since they did not try to sell me anything.

This is the number to call Third Federal Savings and Loan collections department in regards to an equity loan. While I was on hold with them this number tried calling me. I didn't answer and it and a message wasn't left. They must be experiencing some kind of glitch.

This is Third Federal Savings collections department.  I called their main number, spoke to customer service and they verified that the number is theirs and transferred me to that department.
