I received a call from this number and was online with them for 45Min.  BEWARE, its from INDIA.

They just scam people to steal money.

I had the same thing happen to me. I had my son do a scan on my computer and I called my bank to stop payment. I also feel foolish for trusting that it was Microsoft. I do have a Microsoft account and an account through Geek Squad at Best buy and I will talk to them as well. The woman on the phone asked if I was a senior, which I am, then she proceeded to call me "honey" which had me concerned and frankly irritated me. The more I thought about it the more apprehensive I became.

I received a "locked out" message on my computer which gave me this phone number. She said I had a virus that some unknown person was trying to access my accounts and that they were Microsoft and they would correct it. I have a Microsoft account she said it had expired and I was hesitant but I did pay for the renewal. I was nervous about it the whole time not knowing if they were indeed Microsoft. Afterwards I did a search on the number and it was reported as a scam. I called my bank and am disputing the charges I also had my son due a scan on my computer, which on the surface seems to be okay. I asked a couple times if they were Microsoft she said yes and asked if I was a senior. I hesitantly acknowledge I was, she then called me "honey' and continued to try to placate me which made me more concerned. The name on my bank for the charges reads I Serve Solutions.  I changed my passwords as well. I will also be taking it in to Best buy Geek squad who usually repair my computer. I should have done that first!

She said her name was Rose Merill and she was from Canada but her accent wasn't Canadian. It seemed to be more from India.

This is not a debt collector or a computer specialist. It is a scammer!!!!!

Wow same thing happened to me. I didn't know any better and they got me for $500 dollars. Had the nerve to do it again and my dumb self gave them my information again because they said they were gonna refund my money. Tried to call back phoney number so I wised up up and cancel my card
