some prescription scan, even left a message to  call this number

Important information...please call 855-817-4442.  Supposed to be OptumRX.  Wanting you to fill your prescriptions rough them.  Told them I am not changing...used same pharmacy for over 20 years.  Garbage junk spam!

Thanks for the post.  Just got the same call.  Reported it to OptumRx.  The OptumRx rep. said they do not contact Optum program users unless you have their on-line subscription service.   I use the local pharmacy.

OptumRx is calling what it thinks are customers that use their prescription plan and have allowed them to call with refill reminders. They dont call to get you to change coverage or anything like that. Its either a typo when someone signed up and gave them the wrong number or its dialing an old number to someone who used to have your phone number. We get these every month reminding us its time to order refills from them or to go to the pharmacy.

Received a call from 978-775-6293 just now and like the comments here, left a recorded message on my voice mail claiming to be OptumRX.  Said they had important information about my prescription and to contact 1-855-817-4442.  I'm unsure if this is a scam or not;  My insurance does utilize OptumRX, but I think it is only for home delivery, which I do not participate in.

called my cell from 978-775-6293 (Massachusetts) and told me they were from OptimumRX and wanted to speak with me.  First they asked if I was (my name) , yes or no.  My husband told me never to answer Yes even to a recording because they can use that as an agreement.  Told me to take a message for me and call 855-817-4442

Spam call.  My insurance company does not use anyone called OptumRX.

Claimed to be OptimumRX and left message to return call. Instead I called OptimumRX direct and they knew nothing about it.

Optum RX have no idea who they are, but they know my name

Well, the logical intelligent thing to do would have been to look that company up on the internet.  Then, if you have no business relationship with them, then you could have proceeded further by filing complaints.

Gave 855-817-4442 as a call back number which is not a toll free number for Optum Rx -- probably phishing for personally identifiable information

Got robo call.  Stating it was OptumRx  This is through AARP United Healthcare.
 I have Optimum but they go through Assured RX.

Close in name to my healthcare but don't know how they got my name and cell phone number

Why are these calls allowed to come through?  Why even have "Do Not Call"  We get calls all day long-
and now this one which is a very deceptive call - sounds very official!

The only way to prevent a call from getting through is to block it yourself.
There is no system, or law, or law enforcement agency that can prevent someone from calling you on the phone  or block certain numbers on your request!
A lot of callers are up to no good and they don't use the Do Not Call Registry - they don't care whether you're on that list or whether you want to receive phone calls.

Get you a telephone that can block callers by number, whether or not the number is spoofed.

I received a call from this number today and the message said "important info about your prescription. When I called back I got a recording asking for personal info. I just hung up and checked the number.  Remember if it seems off it most likely is!!!

Call from optum rd calling about 5 to 6 times per week how do I get my phone number removed

Called and said optum rx.  said they had important info and needed to call back.  Called the real number I have used in the past.  Entered my phone number so they could see why they contacted me and they had no info. at this time, therefore. SCAM
