Received vm from 716-402-1405 with case number asking to return call to 855-818-7983

I received a call today from the same numbers advising the samething. Is this a scam?

I received a call today from a private number telling me to call this number to discuss my potentially being served with a summons.  I called the number back and its sounds pretty official, however, when I contacted the company they said they represented I was told it was probably a scam.

I got a call from this number 855-818-7983 saying I had a case number and needed to get attorney the man's name is Julio Ortiz. He sounds very convincing.

Got a call same number says his name is Ryan Muller

This guy says his name is Ryan Muller.  He sounds convincing but i figure this is some kind of fraud!

My guy said Keith Miller, case number as well.  Said he is coming by my house this afternoon and i better have state ID ready so he can verify my signature and if I was not there it was failure to appear ... This is a total fraud, sounded like he was trying to be a bully, let him show up here ...

It is a FRAUD.  You are correct,  it is a fraud.  The scamming game has been so profitable,  all of the termites are crawling out of the cracks to get in on it.  One would think that with these now going on everywhere and everyones phones are ringing off the  hooks, all of  people would be wised up. I don't see why the newspapers,  TV stations (local and national)  doesn't jump on this thing and spread the word constantly,  because that would run the scammers out of business.  KNOWLEDGE IS POWER AGAINST THESE TOADS.  If it wasn't for this 1-800 board and the people who participate on it,  a lot more would get the shirts taken off their backs.

Joe,   if he shows (which he won't)  you tell him to get his ass off your property or you'll call the police.  That will send him running.

I received a call from 870-563-6545. The person left a voicemail after calling twice. His name was Ryan Mueller. He stated a case number for a court appearance. He also stated that "they" were dispatching someone to my work or home location and to have two forms of state issued ID available at all times. He said to call the firm that has the complaint against me at 855-818-7985. Then, he said, "Good luck, ma'am." My friend had a similar call last year and he found it to be a scam, but it scares you!

I got a call today from this company at my WORK.. Stating "this is such and such from Niagra Arbitration Services, you case is currently ready to be discussed, call 1-855-818-7983 with a case number assigned" I don't know what the hell this is, but I know it's a scam. For some idiot to call a freaking government number is gonna get in lots of trouble. BTW the number came from 716-402-1405 (Niagra Falls NY)

Update... I called this number (855-818-7983) back and they stated that they are looking for someone "WHO DOESN'T FREAKING WORK HERE" and he said "Ok, so this number has been taken out of the system"...

this is the second call i get from a Michelle Brown from a blocked number leaving a voice mail saying it was regarding some legal docs and to call 855-818-7983.... and that a process server would be at my house or place of employment in a couple of hours... had my boss, who happens to be an attorney call her back.. she was quick to hang up on her and now wont answer the calls!

I got the same message. It is a scam. I am on some list. I get these messages once about every three to four months. Just ignore them. If you have to appear in court you will get a summons, not a phone call. Puhleeez.

Any legitimate company trying to collect will provide legitimate information and not hide their phone number under "private" or make clearly illegal threats against you.

I always seem to miss the call. If I get it next time I'll let them know they can speak to my .22 caliber pistol if they want to trespass on my property.

The number.  threatens to come to my hom or place of wor to serve me legal paper.  in Massach court paper I onl I only served by police if police if criminal or de deputy sheriff or constable if civil there is no such thing  A process server.  never calls you this is  this is a scam.  come so I ca sick the do sick the dogs on you.

I received a message from someone named Michele Brown in regards to a case# in Delaware County, letting me know I am going to be served papers and I have been notified, she left phone number
1 855-818-7983 to call for information and before she hung up she wished me luck. I don't know if this is a legitimate company or not, I do know I have some past due bills from when I was laid off in 2009, back and fourth for a couple of years, worked here and there until I was able to get a permanent position. I will be filing bankruptcy, no one would work with me, I didn't have enough money to pay the min balance that was due on accounts. God knows and she needs to stop calling individuals and get a real position to help them. The call didn't scare me, I listened, called the toll free number, no one was available, I was asked to leave a message,well you know what  did, I hung up, Their nuimber will be blocked any any other numbers if they call again, I have the victory, don't fear what men can do to you, The battle is not yours, if you are a servant of God, saved, and have the spirit of God, don't worry, God will fight your battles, be obedient unto the Lord and he will make a way out of no way. We all have made and still make some mistakes, the beauty of it,is when you are honest with yourself and the Lord, he will not not only give you joy unspeakable and full of Glory, he will make a way where that bill will have a zero balance or they can't find nothing with your name or getting an attorney to file bankruptcy which is put in place in case a situatoin that calls for it, following the laws of the land, so since it's in place if we need to do that, then don't feel condemed, we all have to learn from our mistakes so we won't go back down that road again, and we can learn from it, share it with others. The Lord allowed some one to study the law to help, he gave attorneys the knowledge that they hold in order to help others. It's a beautiful thing when you learn from past experiences, you grow, learn study and strive to do better as each day passes by through the grace of God, which gives peace that passeth all understanding.
