Received a call froma processer stating he was about to serve to summons to me but he wanted to give me a chance to handle it first. So he gave me a number with a reference number to call. I called and it was answered as Universal when I spoke with someone and gave them the reference number they stated it was for a unpaid payday loan thru Oasis Marketing from January 2012. First of all I did have a payday loan thru them but it was paid of in bi-weekly increments. They stated that I had never paid anything on the principle amount only their processing fee. But what is funny when I tried to explain it to them that I had bank statements showing the payments and that I did not owe anything to them and that they did not want to hear an explanations of any kind. He threatened me and told me I can explain it in court that the processor will be serving me papers and to have a nice day then hung up on me. Has anyone else had any dealings with these people

My 86 year old father received a call from this number on his cell phone trying to reach me.  Number 1, I have never given out his cell phone number nor used him for a reference or given permission for anyone to call him.  They told them they had a case against me and gave a random number that they claimed was a court number.  Lie, I searched and court cases have letters in front of them and this one does not.  I called to see what would happen and they started asking for all kinds of personal information and they would not give me any saying I needed to have my attorney call and that I should have been served by now. I told them this was a scam and hung up.  I will be filing an Attorney General Complaint against them.
