Missed call on my cell phone that is registered on the do-not-call list

Its a debt collector.they changed 800 number to 855,888 etc

Its those scammers.Have you been looking for a job lately? They send you a check and then want to wire them the money. For those who dont know, those are SCAMS. So dont worry about answering, its not important.

MIssed call, no message. It was on my cell that is registered with the do-not-call registry.

Calling me every day between 8am-9am.  I don't answer since I don't recognize the number, but they never leave a message.  Called back from my work line and it is Southwest Credit Systems-sounds like a debt collector.

They are a debt collector for Verizon.  This is the third debt collector that Verizon has placed my account with.  We ended our contract of 3 lines 2 years ago and they are trying to charge me an early termination fee for 1 of the lines.  We were with Verizon for 6 years and would NEVER go back to them.  What a crock, I have sent them the copy of the contract with the end date on it over 5 times and they are really starting to tick me off.

These calls are from credit collectors but do not appear on your phone bill.  I do not owe anyone to have to go to collections.  This is a scam.  Beware!

I don't know who this number belongs to, but I am going to assume Verizon is correct. As stated in another post, I had Verizon home service (the only local phone company in our area) for almost ten years of uninterupted service. I finally got good enough cell service to drop them as my primary provider. Somehow, they got hold of my cell phone number, and have been pestering me about an early termination fee ever since. This is the third number they have used. I didn't and won't answer it and they didn't and won't leave any messages, so we're all good.

I refused to verify my address until they would state the name of the company he basically refused my request. So I refused  any more information and hung up. This is the same company that gets your information from a application I may have completed online they then run your credit and try to claim to be collecting on behalf of any company your report show problems like collections, charge offs or execessive lates. Here is the catch first they are very rude, unprofessional and talk fast. These are all signs of fraudelent practices. Also the amounts are usually wrong because  they are using old information. Beware any judgement must be mailed to you with a demand to pay infull in 30 days or dispute it. You don't have to give personal information over the phone.

Don't know who this number belong to cause I never had anything in my name. I answer it one time and they ask for somebody with my first name but different last name, I told them they had the wrong number and they never stop calling.

I answered it once, and an automated machine asked for an "Aguilar" (mispronounced BADLY) so I hung up.  Maybe some bird-brained debt collector copied my number from Craigslist.

An automated voice keeps calling and asking for a person, I won't say the name, but it is no one I know. They say if it is the wrong number I should press 3. I have done this several times but they keep calling and asking for this person.

I do not even have virizon. I have AT&T, why would they call me

It's southwest credit systems not verizon!

They never leave a message - and when you call back, the recording says, "thank you for calling South West Credit Systems"
