I received a voice mail from Sara Clarkson from APR & Associates.  She left a message stating that I needed to call back immediately to get my recorded statement.  She informed me to reference a file number.  When I called back, a man answered the phone "this is Doug". They did not answer the phone "APR & Associates" which lead me to believe they were a scam debt collector.  I did speak with Sara and she stated that their company was a "mediation" company representing a on-line payday loan company.  I did not admit to anything and advised her that the payday loan company needed to validate the loan and provide their state license.  She told me this was a stalling and she would advise her client.

If anyone has taken out a on-line payday loan you as a consumer have the right to have that loan company or whoever is asking for payment to provide a signed contract and most states require on-line loan companies to have a state license. This is your right according to the Fair Debt Collection Act.

Same here.

This happened to me too! I had to contact Apple to remove their malware.
Call Apple if you see this number and contact the FBI. They're phishing for credit card info and ways to get your money!
