A Tom Callahan called for hubby claimed has filed papers ..warrant pending??? Wth??? No other info was given very rude

Called about someone I have worked with, claimed they are international services pre legal division.... I think it's just a lying debt collector

I received a call from a Tom Currey stating there were 2 complaints filed against me. If I do not respond he will send a process server and I would be very surprised with the results if I do not respond in a timely manner. These people are ridiculous he even called my brother..so embarrassing! This has got to be scam! Last I knew they do not call you and tell you that you will be served papers..

I have received numerous calls from a Joseph Banks regarding legal action being taken against me I am to be served papers. Have directed them to  my legal consul but they still call.

These people are ridiculous calling my job & family stating that they are going to serve me papers & hunt me down if I don't call them back.

Received a call from a Bill Rosenberg , saying he was from International Arbitration Services  saying that if I didn't respond in 24 hours I would be served papers with Mecklenburg Arbitration Services within 7 days

got a call at work saying that I owed a loan company  $503 but could settle today for $251. If I didn't respond in 24 hours I would need 2 forms of identification because I would be served with papers.

These nasty bill collectors have been calling me for months saying they are from pre-legal & will turn me over to the court house if I don't resolve the matter. I told them to stop calling & was told in an immed voice mail msg that I had 10 min to call him back or he'll call my employer & discuss the issue w/ them.

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim’s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims’ relatives, friends, and employers.

I receive numerous calls from Angela Kennedy with International Legal Services to my place of employment, home and cellphone.  Stating it's a time sensitive matter and if I do not respond, I will be served with legal papers. When I call the number 1-855-823-1505 it goes directly to voice message and leaves you on hold waiting to connect you to an operator. You would think I would have receive something in the mail, before legal actions can be taken, so I would know what I did wrong.

I received a call from a Michael Miles at this number stating he had received faxed paperwork this morning regarding not me but a friend of mine.  Said he would wait until tomorrow to file the paperwork to give me time to obtain legal counsel or talk to this friend, in essence threatening me with legal action for something that really had nothing to do with me.

I have received two calls in the past week from Angela Kennedy at 855-823-1505.'she is a text. 116.
She claimed that my daughter has a personal civil case and she needs to get in touch with her.
Can somebody please stop this? She was rude and did not give me any more info.
