This is a third-party caller for Comcast, calling to offer upgrade opportunities for current Comcast residential phone/internet customers.  In the last week my household has received 5 calls from this number.  4 of these calls have been "dead air" but the last one actually had a human responding on the other end.  Said that I would have to contact Comcast directly to ask them not to provide our phone number to their third-party marketing partners to stop future calls.

Thanks for the information. I am a COMCAST Customer in Maryland.  I don't appreciate a sales call at 8:52 a.m.   I believe that no calls for solicitation, albeit survey or sales, should be initiated before 9:00 a.m.  As of late, many of these calls have been received just after 8:50 a.m.  The old adage, "It's better to ask for forgiveness than permission" doesn't apply here.  They don't leave messages if you voice mail responds to the call.

Repeatedly called me and I didn't answer. After searching indicated this is Comcast, I decided to answer.  He asked if I am so and so, I said yes, then he hung up.   Scary!

Calling everyday!  I'll block. You would think they would get the message when they repeatedly get cut off.

Just called 45 minutes ago. I didn't answer. Then my phone started beeping and wouldn't stop for a short time nor would phone work. It finally stopped beeping and worked. What is that?
