    Received a call at work today from someone claiming I committed check fraud. I was with a customer so the "gentleman" proceeded to berate and threaten the switchboard operator!!

    That was your basic,  typical   Indian scammer at work.  They like to call employers to try to extort money from you to make them stop.   They have nothing to fear sitting in their Mumbai Boiler Rooms.    I truly hate them....
