Got a letter in the mail informing me that I would receive an Android(TM) Touchpad Table Computer from "our gifting department."  Simply call the gifting department at 855-824-1399 and reference the RSVP gift code."  They also offered a $100 restaurant card if I called now.
Looking similar things up on the interenet, there was a similar letter going around in Pennsylvania.  From a TV report: "According to the Better Business Bureau, this is a telemarketing scam to promote a high priced travel and vacation club. The BBB also says that by calling the phone number on the letter, consumers' phone numbers may be shared or sold for future robocalls."
There is a return address on the envelope that was hand written and doesn't exist on Google Maps and the letter just had Naperville at the top.  I didn't call.

Just got the same one today, what a joke.....

I got the letter too. I took this advise. "If it looks too good to be true it probably is!!"

Got a letter today.  What a joke if people still fall for this its crazy.  Didn't even look legit.  Holly crap at least try a little.

Received said letter.  Being a broker I looked up the Naperville, Illinois return address in Tax Records and the addresses go from 1855 to 1871 so as reported, the return address is bogus.  Sent the letter to the FTC for their records.

Direct Buy Naperville is who this letter is from.  After a little research, and almost being suckered by these f'tards about 15 years ago, I am surprised they are still in business.  I guess there are suckers for every scam.

They use to send you mail that would openly ID themselves but looks like they cannot get enough business with legitimate advertising so they send this crap.
