It is from American Locksmith. They just finished a job at my house and this is their Customer Service rep calling to follow up.

BEWARE of American Locksmith. This compan took my credit card number over the phone to guarantee service. Although I paid cash to get a discounted rate and called them back to delete my credit card information; fraudulent credit card charges suddenly started to appear on my credit card.

They are tooo damn expensive!!!

DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! They are crooks. They charged me $200 to let my tenants into their home after they quoted me $60. I tried calling to talk to a manager or owner and no one will even call back. Plus they said the response time would be 15-20 mins the locksmith didn't get out there until an hour and a half after he was dispatched.

Dont use them, Way over priced, very unrofessional, and dont follow up with complaints

Co snags you by assuring you a tech will arrive at a certain time but the time keeps getting pushed back and back so that it's too late to contact a different REPUTABLE company. The day before doc informed me I needed back surgery & had very severe hip arthritis. Thanks to these clowns, I stood for well over an hour in 50 degree temps. Today I'm in extreme pain & confined to sofa.

I had them coming out to my house to make a car key. The service man quoted me $265.00 plus $39.00 service fee. I told him no way. Then a woman called me and said $180.00. The technician tried to get me to pay cash only. There was a total of 15 phone calls made to me that day. The tech was four hours late. Never again.

They go by the name of Blue Giant Locksmith in Newnan Georgia. Called to have a lock opened in my garage and the "technician" showed up in an unmarked car. Before I could get any information he produced a battery powered drill and drilled the guts out of my lock. With the drill pointed at me he said the price would be $180.00. I paid because he was armed and I wasn't. When I called other locksmiths in the area I was told that I had been charged twice the going rate and that a real locksmith would have used a pick on the lock without destroying it. It took me over a week to get a call from a "manager" who assured me I had been told in advance the price and the method of working on the lock and that I was wasting his time complaining about it. He said as long as I got into the house he considered the price fair and the job completed. These people are crooks from the getgo and you need to avoid them.

I ran into this same situation at my house.  The outfit was shady, claimed to have a local office which didn't exist, the company didn't exist legally, and they refused to state who they really were.  I found out though investigation that the website was owned by someone in India.  The bank gave me the address that the payment went to and it was an apartment in Texas that was for rent.  The phone number also came back to a garage door company advertising on Craigslist.  They don't tell you the upfront price.  Mine quoted me $15.00 which I thought was strange, came in an unmarked minivan, and had a Russian accent.  After he opened the door the bill was suddenly $115.00.  Technically I had to pay him, so I did.  I turned them over to the State AG who couldn't get anywhere, and they referred it to the Texas AG who sent me a letter telling me that they couldn't help me because I wasn't a Texas resident.

This just happened on my card. I had to take the afternoon off to sort t out with the bank. I am currently calling the better business bureau and trying to track down the guy who came to unlock my car.

Do not use this company -- they are total scammers. They quote a low price over the phone and then charge you about 5Xs as much, claiming that your specific car is more. My daughter, who is in first week as college freshman, chose them because they had the lowest price ($28 show-up fee + $19.99 or more to unlock, depending on the model of the car). Then they charged her $189 claiming that her car that took 30 seconds to unlock was on the high end. When she called the company back to speak to a manager, they said they would call the technician but either they did not or he ignored the call. The technician threatened to call the cops on my daughter so she finally gave him $100 to go away. Still a ridiculous amount of money for a service that normally costs between $30-$50. Again -- DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Scammers. Call this campony today to unlock my door. They sent a technician. He Come after an hour  check my door lock and told me it s$189. I said what? I told him this is not the first time I locked myself out so how much do you charge? He said again $189. I told him to leave because I can' t pay that much money to unlock the door.i told him that I paid $40 to unlock it last time. He said no and start telling me to pay him for the service fee .i asked him what service ,you didn't unlock my door .Technician start treatened to call the cops on me. I said to him call them.He ended up leaving. Don t use this company

Company was called to provide lock service in Virginia.   Scheduled time missed.     Company continued to call on customer's cell and landline until midnight.    No messages  left.  Numbers used by the company:  855-828-9999 and 954-842-1613 and 866-301-8377.   One name given was Felix when the service was initially requested by the homeowner.

Called for rekeying.  After 4 different delays in time he arrived.  I said I needed an invoice.  He didn't have one.  I was quoted $25 a lock.  Tried to charge me $65 a lock.  I'm an over 70 woman.  He yelled at me and asked repeatedly for either the cash or my credit card or the keys.  I refused .  Tried to call the company to straighten it out. He continue yelling at me then called me "skum". When i said i was calling the police, he ran to his car and called me a nasty name.

This company is located in South Florida and work nation wide illegally. They are a call center located in Hollywood Fl. Avoid this company at all cost, they work with subcontractors and will not care about you service after you pay them!

The same thing happened to me!! They quoted me $29.99 plus $14.99 and up depending on the complication of the lock.  I was told after my service was complete which took less than 3 minutes for my bedroom door lock that it was $148!  I called the company 3 separate times and was given the run around and finally a "manager" called me back and they were completely rude to me. I wish I would have seen this before I used them.

All the above comments are very I experienced every single one of these comments. They suck the guys was at my son's car a whole 4 minutes and he charged $150.   When I tried asking for a receipt he refused and when I tried questioning him on why the big difference from the quote on the phone I was told it was none of my business and he took off, then when I called he answered and yelled at me and hung up.
