- Gunnar replies to BigA| 1 replyI'll do my best. I have plenty of help & warm beer is no trouble anyway. I'm surrounded by a lot of "Continental" clods who think that cold beer is "lacking flavor". Why can't they just admit that they came from a culture that lacked refrigeration?
- BigA replies to GunnarMy Uncle got used to warm beer over in 'Nam. He drank it, but never really liked it.
- ChanAs you’ve seen from other commentators, this locksmith company is a joke. I never actually called them and had called what I thought was another company (I think they may have other websites or numbers directing you to them- if you hear a Russian accent be cautious), but an unknown number began calling me and I googled it and saw the reviews. I declined multiple times but they kept calling so I answered, and a woman told me they had already sent a technician and there is a 29$ service fee since they were already otw. I never asked for anyone to come, and ended up kicking down my door because I was so frustrated. I laughed and told her that and said I’ve seen the reviews, I’m aware that you are scammers, she tried to argue for a bit then I heard a male voice in the background and she abruptly said “okay, thank you, have a nice day”. If they try to charge you or challenge you and say they’ll call the cops, call their bluff. This is not a legitimate business.

- Susan| 1 replyScam! Last night we get a phone call from our 17 year old son. He locked his keys in his car and contacted this company using the number 855-423-7928. It was the first result that came up searching "locksmith" on google. They told him $19.99 plus a fee for how difficult it is to get into car. It took them 2 minutes with standard equipment. Then they told my son the total was $189, which he did not have, so he called us. My husband got on the phone and told him to let our son leave and we would call him tomorrow about payment and asked him to contact us, not our minor son. So far a man named Jerome has called my son from 855-828-9999 15 times and it has only been 13 hours since the car was unlocked. We don't mind paying the going rate, but this is crazy. I'm going to report them to whoever I can. I can't believe they are harassing and taking advantage of a minor!!!!

- BigA replies to SusanIf your son is a minor, then he could not legally make a contract. I don't feel that this a one of life's necessities, but I could be wrong about that. However I have dealt with this outfit and they are a scam locksmith company. I would suggest that you see if they have a business license and also contact your State Attorney General.
- SenitaI wish I had time to read the reviews about this company before hiring them. I had an emergency situation and hired these people to install three locks on three doors in my home. 1. They quoted $100 - $120 per door, locks and installation included. The price went up to $200 when they got to the house (I was not home; only my daughter). 2. The installation was very badly done - he did not even install the metal plates on the door frame, so there are 'raw holes' on the door frames. The doors are difficult to close as he did not make any notches to accommodate the door lock plate on the doors. 3. Called and complained to the company, the technician called back with a nasty attitude and ended up cursing at my husband.
PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!! - Sandy| 1 replyI wish I knew that I could search phone numbers online before using a company. I used them near Pontiac MI and they came in an unmarked van. They charged me $178.00 to get in a cheap 20.00 door lock in my relatives home. Now I wish I broke the lock and had a new doorknob type lock replaced. The guy knew I was frightened and took advantage of me. I did take a picture of his license plate if I get more than one charge on my credit card..... if it’s a legal plate!!! They go by the name of SOS... he says!

- Tygerkat replies to SandyYou do realize this is a phone number look-up site, not a review site, right? People come here to find out who called them not to complain about what they consider poor service. Since you called the number, you clearly know to whom it belongs so why would you come to a phone number look-up site?
- post pending moderator approval
- Laughs at scammersClearly a scam, they found me on a phone number I never give out, never heard of them, never have used them. Block the number and delete.

- Jack HendronAbsolute crooks. Quoted me $285 for a key fob to unlock my Honda Civic(I was on vacation, so I was in a pinch and knew it was pricy). Guy showed up, very rude, said that he "didn't have the actual fob", but that he could disconnect some wiring and rig my car to start without the physical fob. When I asked specifically what he was going to do to my car, he basically told me not worry about it and that it "only take a few minutes" I politely told him to [***] off and that I wasn't going to give him almost 300 dollars to cut some cords in my car. I then got towed to a dealer that sold me a key fob for $128. LESS THAN HALF of what these pricks wanted. Never again .

- Resident47Listings for locksmiths are overrun with predatory crooks who take unfair advantage of people thrust into a vulnerable position. The person who negotiates from a position of strength is the likely winner of any dispute, and it's hard to find leverage when you're locked out of a place or thing of value.
The FTC has maintained an advisory page for years which provides some ideas for vetting locksmith candidates before and after the alleged tech arrives. It echoes the elements of the fraud described in this thread, including the heavy reliance on drilling as a first and only solution. If you wanted to rent a schmuck to destroy your property, you would have asked for one, and could easily find one right in the neighborhood of the job. But you're paying for a tradesman, not a wrecking crew. As the FTC puts it, "A skilled, legitimate locksmith has invested in tools and education and should have the skills to unlock almost any door."
Finding a Locksmith - FTC advisory - Tim$319 , new lock and key CROOKS I called credit card co. right away. He stated $175 for new lock ( I know thats a lot) then add's $115 for rekey and $29 for service call.. DO NOT USE THIS CO.

- JenniferI called to check their prices on getting my son's car door open as he had locked his keys inside it. I was told that I would have to sign some papers that they would email me and that I would get a call with a quote for the cost. I waited for the phone call with the quote and never got it, instead I got a phone call asking if I had received the authorization papers in my email. So I check my email and sure enough, it's an authorization to charge my credit card. They wanted a photo of the front and back of my credit card and my authorization before they would even quote me a price. They even wanted a copy of my ID, all before even knowing if they were going to do business with me because they supposedly can't give me a quote without all of that information first. THAT IS A SCAM IF I'VE EVER SEEN ONE. There's no way I would give someone my credit card info without even knowing what the cost is. Well anyways, I have now received 5 phone calls from them in the last hour. I wasn't able to answer but if they call again, they will certainly hear my opinion on how they are supposedly "doing business". DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. This is an exact copy of what they sent to me in an email:

- SammyLocked keys in car. Tried to call and get a locksmith and said to expect a call when they could come. Called 30 minutes later and we told them we figured it out because we did. Then we went to bed and I was woke up by a phone call at three am. Noone said anything so I kept sayin hello and all they said was my name then awkwardly hung up. No less then 30 seconds later my friend who was with me received a call from that number as well. Sketchy right? She didn’t answer. We went back to bed then I am woke up by yet another phone call from the same phone number. I didn’t answer and right after. They called me friend again. I almost had a heart attack I was terrified I had no idea it was the “locksmith” I called earlier. F*ck that. I was scared af so I searched the area code because I was unfamiliar with it, just to find out it’s not even an area code. WHATTTT THE HELL DAWG

- GilDon’t use this company. I chose them because I saw their prices were low. I waited 45 mins when I was told 15 mins. I was told 85 total over the phone, but when the guy showed up he said 225 plus a 37 dollar fee. I thought to myself ([***] that) and told the guy I only have 60 dollars on my card and sorry for having him drive out here. I’ll just call another company. But he then decided to do it anyways. I’m just now seeing these bad reviews about fraudulent charges on customer cards so now I’m going to get a new card made. I highly recommend going to another company.
