Received two phone calls from whoever or "whatever" this company is. First time I answered, a man on the phone asked for me by name. I said yes that this is me. He then asked to confirm my address as he stated it to me? Then afterwards transferred me to some woman who started saying I owed money? I hung up. Second time I did not answer. Wondering who these people are and what they are after.

This number keep calling every day all day saying they are from gate stone but won't give you any info but asking your info. I told them if they can't tell me anything don't call me. They are calling my house and cell phone the number they keep calling from is 855-834-6018.

That's the same thing they are telling me! I'm searching the number to see who this company is. They think people are slow and give them information. They called unknown, want leave a message, and want tell you who they are. They just called again, if they called one more time, I will report this number to the police and news station.

In the last few weeks, I get several calls a day/evening from this number. I answered the call and no one was there, then later another call. This time the person was speaking so fast that I could not understand what they were saying, I asked them to slow down and speak clearly, when they did not do that I hung up. Then I just stopped answering the call until this Morning, Wednesday November 19, 2014. A man wanted to verify that the person he was speaking to was Larry Smith. I assured him that is was, it was MY cell phone and not one else answered my cell phone.   LOL, I let him know that he had better accept my word that I was the person that he wanted to speak to and if he could not accept that Fact then stop calling because I was hanging up and would not answer his call again.

I received calls from these people everyday. Today I decided to take some action. I called them, a lady answered the call. I told her I was going to make a lawsuit against them. She said she was going to remove my number from their calling lst.

But it's late for them. I'm in my lawyer's office to finalize the lawsuit document.

I'll disclose the real identity of these people very soon.

I received a call from 855-834-6014 saying they were Gatestone (debt collector).  They requested that I return the call and asked that I provide the reference number they left on the voice mail message.  When I called back a man asked for my name, my physical address, and my social security #.  He never asked for the reference number. When I wouldn't give that info to him he got mad and started yelling at me.  He told me I was ruining my credit and if I would just give him that info he could get all of this straightened out.  I hung up on him. What an unbelievable scam!

this number calls 2 or3 times a day saying they are trying to collect a debt.
they even leave a message on my voice mail.
How do I get it to stop????

Call blocker.  Also do not pick up on numbers you do not recognize.

I keep getting a call from gatestone but it's not the same numbers as everyone else it's a (336) 493-4310 they won't tell me anything unless I verify my address or last 4 of my ssn

received a call asking for my sister & claiming that she gave this number... a man named "David Gutierrez said that the company wa Gatestone... left message to have her call him... . (my sister lives in another town)  He asked for a better number for her I told him that I wouldn't give that out ...

6 calls in six days stating they are a collection agency.  Want my address and they won't give any information as to why.

They asked for my mother, who is a blind and elderly widow, by the way, she wasn't home when they called. When she got home we returned the call, the person who I spoke with said that she owed a past due bill with AT&T, whom she currently has service with. Of course he said she could pay over the phone with a credit/debit card, and I told him that she wasn't paying anything until I spoke with AT&T and hung up the phone. It sounded weird, so my friend suggested I Google the number and I'm very glad I did. 1-855-834-6018, Gatestone Debt Collection.

just got a call from Gatestone. A woman named Shelby. She also wanted to verify my address and last four numbers of my social security. Told her no you called me you tell me what you want. She refused said she couldn't give out that information to just anybody she had to make sure that it was the correct person. We went back and forth. Asked if this was a collection agency she wouldn't tell me. I don't  owe money to anyone. She  said they have mailed me information twice and I have never responded to them. I have never received anything from this company. I'm not calling them back and they better not call me again!

They called twice stating their name as "Physicians Billing System".  In the call-back message they said that I had an outstanding balance with a physician.  Since, I pay my bills on time I was suspicious.  However, out of curiosity I returned their call.  A recording of a very sweet civilized sounding young lady asked me for my date of birth which I gave her.  The recording then stated I had a balance of $499 with some doctor and that I could go up on line to get a detailed statement.  Since I am extremely hesitant to release my e-mail address and the amount $499 sounded suspicious I did not go any further.

This raises a question: Where are the Feds - the federal law enforcement people?

Got a call from this company asking for me.  Said i'd take a message and they left a number for me to call back.  Sounds like a scam.

same thing happens to me and I tell them that that person doesn't live here and they will say I will call back another time.
