I got another call from this number. The caller said it was EA &Associates. Once again, they were calling for another person. You cannot tell them you are not the other person if you are not there. I think I will be calling the Attorney General's office on Monday. I have had it with this bunch of jerks. They did wish the other person, "good luck".

This company is a scam.  It is a collection agency that bought your old debt for pennies on the dollar and threaten you with false litigation If you do not pay. They can't do anything and will not do anything. The Co name is Erie Acquisitions llc, which is a violation of the fdcpa to misrepresent the name of the Co.  (By using ea and associates). That is $1,000 fine that goes in your pocket. It's another $1,000 fine for threatening a fake lawsuit as well as for each other occurrence that violates the fdcpa.  File a complaint w the Attorney General office in NYS and the FTC as well as CFPB . Stop being harassed by these people and lied to and do something to help get them shut down for bad business practices. If they can't collect legal then they have no business being open.

Calling my phone, and threaten me with they call my neighbors and left me a message.  And to call them back asap. Or they will see me In court. Don't have a clue.

I received a call on Tuesday and the guy name Bob grant said I owe 1300 dollars but he could reduce it to 600 dollars cause if I didn't take care of it now it will be about 4000 dollars In court cost. I didn't have and clue what he was talking about.  Then he call back and threaten that he had call my neighbors and they will be waiting on me to deliver a message about a debt I owe.

First Robert called said I owed this bank in Ohio $648 would discount it today for $404 said no way I could have this debt wanted me to give him my Social Security # I refused then he quoted my last 4 numbers to make it seem he was official - way scammer - fraud don't give you info to anyone - he threatened said he was recording me would turn it over to clerk in court.

These people Bob grant threatened my mother that I was going to be picked up by law enforcement agency for a past debt that was paid and was over 7 years ago ....I returned call to Bob grant and he continued to threaten and would not send me imformation on this paid debt he spoke to my mother and she has no power of attorney or right to speak to her ...I looked up thw phone number and on Google and found all these messages of a scam company ...now off to contacting state attorney general ...ftc ....fbi ...and local law enforcement as my mother has the threating phone message ....look out bob grant you may need legal council

EA and Associates is now leaving a return phone number as 866-332-6087.   Hard to believe that they actually left a phone message.  Not only that, but it was left for a relative who lives in a different state.

"Hi, this is Hannah Jones from EA and Associates.  This message is solely intended for (name).  There has been a complaint filed against you concerning your direct name and SSN.  This situation needs your close attention previous to it being forwarded on for pre-legal processing.  Call 866-332-6087 M-F, 9a-6p.  Refer to your case #xxxxxx."

I have had about 3 different people call me saying this about a very old debt that I have paid off long ago. This number called today. 855-840-9210. Asking me to fax my payment paperwork to them. I'm not doing it cause they can just get more of my information off of it.

I was scammed by Erie acquisitions for $1300.  The caller who scammed me was named Bob Grant.  on behalf of Monterey Financial.  How do I get my money back for this outrageous scam?

Bob Grant again today and yesterday.   Don't engage him.  "He" is breaking the law by calling you.  He is a criminal involved in a criminal enterprise.  Scamming is to kind a word.  Number he used   866-332-6087  Don't try to 'reason' with an electronic pick pocket.  Just because 'his' name pops up on Caller ID doesn't mean it's a legitimate caller.  

These calls continue because they are successful and take advantage of good, honest people and prey upon the unsuspecting and the urgent call to people who want to do the right thing.  "He" creates doubt and then you're hooked.  

His enterprise continues because he has made crime pay.  Report him.

Thank you for the posts! I just now got the same phone call. The guys name was Robert Huhn and he said he was calling about case #4509summit, and the call is in reference to verifying social security information. I definitely will not call him back, as the number he called from was 866-332-6087 and for me to return his call at 786-323-7811.

I called Erie acquisition and they are a legitimate business, I paid my debt and I'm good. Hope this helps someone else. 786-323-7811 is the # I called and spoke with bob, very helpful.

This company called me and withdrew money from my account!! Turns out, they had no information on any debt. I was scammed out of $400!!
