- AnonymousThis is a vendor for Anthem that keeps calling and leaves no message, which is an annoyance.
- Caller: Inovalon
- AnonymousThey left a message and said they were a vendor for Anthem and wanted me to call them regarding making appointments with my doctor. They mentioned my name. Why wouldn't Anthem contact me if they had something to tell me about making appointments? I just saw my doctor a month ago.
- AnonymousWe have received about 15 calls daily in the last 4 days... It is from Inovalon.. a database tech company..
"Inovalon combines cloud-based data analytics and a data-driven intervention platform to achieve meaningful impact across the healthcare landscape". Well MAYBE...maybe not... I NEVER confirm or give out any personal information on any phone call. Finally confronted them on what they were about..and they continued with "just trying to help me make Dr. appt" .. that of course should make anyone suspicious. Not sure what their ultimate goal is of phone solicitation other than collecting data, so no thanks.. Their aggressive calls also rose a red flag...
Their "poor" front line staff (@$27 a hour) must have a quota to meet... so that tells me their interest is more in dollars and profit based healthcare.. more than patient care... Healthcare should never have warped into a profit based industry anyway....so ask to be taken off call list.- Caller: Inovalon

- PeriInovalon has a contract with Anthem to contact its members regarding routine healthcare, making Doctor appointments and the like. I received a letter from Anthem alerting me to the fact that I could be expecting a call from them. So, yeah, annoying when they keep calling and don't bother to leave a message.

- MKHI got a msg from this number today, called back and kept hitting 0 until I got a very nice man who agreed to take me off the calling list. It was easy
- ZPicked up the call and the line started ringing *outbound*. Hung up immediately. Nope nope nope.

- JMWIt's a vendor calling for Anthem with either a sales or a health reminder call. I called Anthem to request I be removed from these call lists. They gave me their "Do Not Call" number which - at least for my area in Virginia - is (844) 203-3796. You'll get a recording, where you can enter your phone number, and then you can opt out of sales calls, medical calls, or both types of calls. They say it'll take up to 14 days for the number to be out of their systems.

- ObamaHealthCareHater| 2 repliesYeah, These guys have been calling me as well. I am really not liking Anthem. They want to force Dr. Appt's down my throat just like they are forcing me to use their Pharmacy by Mail service ExpressScripts if I want to get my meds for more than 30 days at a time. And if I didn't call them to beg them to allow me to use a local pharmacy (not a local chain pharmacy but a local pharmacy owned by a local pharmcist) they were going to deny all my prescription benefits. This is going from "helpful" to "unwanted nanny" to "blackmailer". I'm beginning to wonder if going without health care and facing those pretty dire consequences isn't better than this Orwellian nightmare!!!!!

- BigA replies to ObamaHealthCareHaterMy guess is that you have never had health insurance before? Because most plans have in network and out of network doctors, hospitals, and pharmacies. Simple fact of life that like any business they try to keep their costs down. Do they go to extremes sometimes, yes. But you do have recourse, but like all things in life it takes a bit of effort and most importantly education on the ins and outs of medical insurance.
- TJ995Called at 8:12 am. Nobody should be calling that early.

- TJ995 replies to ObamaHealthCareHaterI have to go to regular appointments and I still keep getting reminders. If you haven't had to leave a message on their website yet, you're in for another treat. They take weeks to months to respond and then it's an answer that a first-grader could come up with. I asked why I never have to pay more than $10 on a prescription and suddenly an inhaler if over $100. They said it went toward my deductible. My deductible is $300 and paid up!
- DDS1929Kept getting this robo call. Called back, and it's Inovalon, contracted by Anthem to call customers to set up dr. appts., etc. When I called back, didn't have to hold long for live help. Told them to take my number off their list, and do not call again. Apologized and said they would remove name and number. Do this, and they will leave you alone.
