These are the same people who used the numbers 877-801-9736 or 877-865-9352. It is a New York Firm that hires unemployed stock and hedge fund brokers to harass you. Call your congress person or the FBI! I did and was told that they are investigating the operation and will arrest these people soon.

I hope this helps as we Americans do not deserve to be treated in this manner by a group of SOBs from New York who are part of the Occupy Wall Street crowd.

I just received a call regarding this same number (855-854-8536). The unidentified male stated that he has some court documents to deliver to me. I asked him of the natureif teh documents and he stated that I should call the number (above) and provided me with a file number. He stated that the company is called BA Group.

I have been getting calls from this number and he said his name was James Seale and that I would be getting some court documents at my place of employment or at my home. Who are these people

My friends and in-laws have gotten calls from this #. When I tried to call them and get information, all they want is personal info from us.  When I tried to get thier address the really started getting rude and hung up. They initially called looking for our address.  This really sounds like a scam.
Go to FTC.Gov, under thier consumer protection site to file a complaint.
Also contact your state Attorney Generals office of consumer protection and file a complaint with them.

Who knows.  When I looked up Thier company name "BA Group" on a Google search-ba group collections- it came up with a whole list of numbers and similar complaints. When directed to 800-notes I entered this number and found this page.

I finally got a call from this company at my house, not everyone elses.
He calls saying," My name is Patrick Martin. I have a summons in my office. You were given an oppurtunity to resolve this and have chosen not to.  I will serve you at work(company name). If you have questions or to request a location change contact my client@855-854-8536 regarding case#. In accordance with Texas state law this  has been an official notification.

Wow!! The nerve of these people. They get just close enough to what they are supposed to do to scare you to death and think they have something going.  It is a shame companies like this exist.

guys, you can all relax. ... these people helped me out...i actually saved money on an outstanding bill i had and they set me up on a payment plan to get myself OUT of debt...they were suuuper nice, friendly and helpful. they are probably calling you because you have a debt that needs to be resolved before court, i would call before you have to go get an attorney and pay all those bills...not sure what else they do, but it was definitely fine,...dont all be such worrywarts! and if u have a question just call

I only wish!  They still won't say why they are calling but did say they would stop.  2 days later they are calling my wife at work again, despite being told  she'll get fired.
