YES I RECEIVED A CALL FROM 1-855-855-1449 JOEL WILLIAMS STATING THERE ARE 2 "FRADULENT CHARGES" AGAINST ME AND WOULD BE COMING TO MY HOME/JOB TO SERVE WITH WARRANT..I FORWARDED THE INFO TO MY LAWYER.. THIS IS A SCAM AND HARRASSMENT.. :-(

Received call with similar voicemail. I have checked my local clerk and no charges are pending against me. In order for anyone to serve me I would think they would have had to file their complaint at the court.
Seems a bit strange to me.

I received a call and message from this number today stating there were going to be charges filed against me, listing a case number, and a return number. Glad I checked this site to ensure that it was indeed a scam.

I got the same exact voice mail. Even from different numbers. It is definitely a scam. I work in law enforcement. We do not call you. We find you and arrest you if there is enough probable cause. Don't fall from these thieves.

I got a voice mail from these people it is a scam. I think they hacked a website to get my information.
They even called my mother. This is the exact voice mail I got.

It looks like there has been some fraudulent activity attached to your name and your social security number. I do need to make you aware of your legal rights to address your charges prior to them being filed against you.  You would need to do so before receiving your summons at your place of employment or you home address.  Once you are served your rights will be forfeited. Your case number is HMG148665. Our phone # is ...You will need to speak to someone in our legal department.

  If you are about to get served with a legal summons they will just come and have you sign that you received it. Then you have a court date.  I work in the legal system.
 Debt collectors (which these guys aren't) can call, send letters and summon you to court. They can't arrest you!
  Fraudulent charges are investigated by the state's attorney's office or a law enforcement officer. They do not call you to notify you that they are coming to serve you or arrest you.
  If your being served court papers.  They will knock on your door and have you sign for your summons  If your not home they (Deputy or court processor) will leave a business card to come down to the civil Unit.  Where I live that is in the Sheriff's office.  You just sign a paper and they give you the paper work about who's suing you and you go to court. You can obtain an attorney at any point.
  If they threaten arrest this is false also. They don't call first! They want to arrest you duh! You could skip town and become a fugitive.
  If there is enough probable cause a judge or state's attorney will issue a warrant. If an officer is doing the investigation. I.e. I call them to my place of business. They will determine once they talk to me and you if there is enough probable cause for fraudulent activity.

I just got a call yesterday that there were 2 fraudulent charges 'of some kind' associated with my name and social.  Gave me case number and the 855 phone number to call back and talk the legal department.  The actual number they called from was 888-678-4311, which is tied to a real estate company.  WTH?  How do people sleep at night when they pull this kind of crap with people?!

Yes, I got the same exact message. I was going to call back but did not. I thought about it for awhile and decided that no one would notify me before taking me to court they would just do it. I am glad to know that there are people like you out there to help others like me.  Thank you ever so much.

They called my work today, my supervisor didn't pick up the phone but that same guy left the voicemail. After that he called my cell phone and left that same message. I never  would pick up the phone because I know this is scam, it's illegal to call your work, I will report to my attorney gen. This gotta be stop.

they have called me several times, always threatening to show up at my work and my home, one time even giving the address of the house where my parents live and where i grew up... but they keep saying that they are looking for "sarah kelly," and i don't even know anyone with that name.

i called the number and told them to stop calling me, and that i'm not sarah kelly.

i don't really know what to do now, because i told them that at least two weeks ago and have still recieved 3 calls since then.

i think i'm going to call the police if it doesn't stop.

I've had the call three days in a row..and I just called them back and told them that there is no one of the name of the person they are looking for living at my home now, or at any time in the past. I told them I'm on a do not call list and to not call me back and to remove my number. The girl said she would. If I get more calls I will file a report with the DO NOT CALL complaint dept. So annoying to keep getting these calls for someone not even living in my home!

They won't stop calling me at work!  I even called the number and told them to have them take my work number off their call list but they called again today!  When I called them I was pretty upset but polite.  I just told them if they have anything to serve me with to send it to me.  I told them I have NO fradulent activity on my record but if they think that I do they need to send me proof of it in writing.  I just answered the phone again at work and told this person that calls me several times a day AT WORK to not call my work number again and to send me whatever it is in writing!  He states that his name is James Holland or something like that.  I am sick and tired of these people constantly calling me and saying this is my last chance yet they call day after day and say the same stupid thing.  If they really had something to give me they would just send it to me already!!  There are several numbers that I am getting these calls from 855-855-1449, 888-617-9696 & 585-598-6192

I failed to mention that I called the numbers back yesterday and gave two different (or so I think) my information and asked them to let the people know not to call me at work.  They supposedly looked it up and said that they would note it.  Each one of these girls hung up on me when I wouldn't let them try to give me some nonsense story and when I said I was contacting local law enforcement!  I filed a BBB complaint and am getting in touch with local law officials.  They are not legally allowed to harass us at work!  I believe these are all the same caller but the messages have each been different.  Some are a recording saying they are the "civil processing center" and they then have a person on the line telling me "you have been notified", the number they call from is 855-855-1449.  The other call is coming from a James Holland telling me to get in touch with National Mediation Services at 888-617-9696.  Each time they call they tell me it's MY LAST CHANCE, they will be coming to my residence or place of employment!!!  My last chance to do what?  They call every day and they never come to my residence or job!!!! The calls MUST stop!!!  This is ridiculous!!

I just received a call with the same mess. How can we stop these harrasing calls and how did they get our information anyway.

For past week I have been getting vm messages stating I needed to call Mediation Services 888-617-9696 that there would be someone coming to my residence or place of employmebt to serve me papers and this was my last chance to contqct them. The persons name who called was Ms. Walsh.  So today I called them and them and got some other lady as Ms Walsh was not there.  They asked my name and for my social. I said to the girl, what is this in regards to, she said I need I can't tell you without your social.  I told her no way was I giving her my personal information if she could not tell why she was contacting me.  That is when she hung up on me.  This is definitely a scam because a professional debt collection agency would never use such tactics.  I immediately filed a complaint with the FTC.
