In response to an advertisement online I had made, I received a text message as follows: "read your room or sublease ads hope still available. write me on  Tiffanywdt@gmail.com and its rent charges."
(NOTE: the ad contained the rent charges)

When I responded, back came a  Text message from this #:    "Configure your number's SMS URL to change (not a misprint = change) this message. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to unsubscribe Msg&Data rates may apply."
I called number and got a recording to change my SMS, etc.

I suspect the " Tiffanywdt@gmail.com " is a bad email to contact as well... I did not try.

I also received a text about an ad I have for a place in Michigan, very similar text message: "Is your room or sublease still vacant. mail me on Tiffanywdt@gmail.com & charges"
1) The wording is odd, but I've received several poorly-composed requests for info/contact, so I guess that may be part of craiglist ads...?
2) my ad listed all charges, so that made it seem extra weird.

I emailed the address, though, and got back a relevant by super oddly-phrased email a few hours later. If this person had read my listing, they would not have had the questions they posed. Said her dad would pay for the costs, so she needed a bunch of information from me :

All before even knowing if she wants to move in??!?!? Um, no. Even if this isn't fake, this person has such poor social skills that I would not want her in my apartment, anyways...
