Got a blocked call and a voicemail from someone who did the “this call is for —name—“ saying they were about to serve them with a summons two days from now and they could call the “plaintiff” back if it wasn’t a convenient time - and that is laughable, because process servers don’t call you up to tell you about it first. The caller left this number as a callback and gave a “case number”: 855-857-2375. They gave no company name which is a red flag by itself.
I’ve had plenty of shady debt collectors call me after 2008 happened, and this is either another one of those or an outright scam. I’m guessing it’s a scam, because when you google the phone number it shows up on three different defunct websites from three different states.
Don’t trust this one. If you actually have bad debt, you’ll get a letter about it.

Received call from restricted #.  Voicemail said they received a fax and were about to serve a summons for my spouse on a certain date at his home or place of employment.  To reschedule a more convenient time please call 855-857-2375 along with a case number.  I called the number and said you have got the wrong person and process servers do not call usually.  I said what kind of scam is this?  He said I assure you mam this is no scam.  Please do not call this number again or it will be deemed harassment..... (lol)....!!  No names were even exchanged.

Yes got one yesterday.  DO NOT give any info.  This same number.  I researched it, it is a scam..

This is so a Fraud Case, Fraud Number and what a Scam.. Do not ever call my number again from that 855 number, I will go after you.  People be aware of it.

Same experience as previous comments.  They actually had my addresses and last four of my social. It was a debt that I had from 2008 but was discharged in a bankruptcy.  As soon as I called them on it they said ok we’ll update that and hung up.  I called twice and they answered with different “lawyers office” names.
