Got a text saying documents to be signed will be delivered tonight by 8pm. Called the number given in the text and a woman answered, confirmed the last 4 of my social and email address. Claimed to be collecting a debt from a loan taken out on 2016. I have no outstanding loans from 2016, and I asked her for proof, loan documents, etc stating I owed this money. She threatened to report me and told me to tell it to the judge when I’m taken to court for a loan in the amount of $375... I told her to furnish proof otherwise I would not pay a debt they could not prove I owed. She continued to yell at me telling me to tell it to the judge.

I’ll wait for that paperwork...

Paperwork will never come.  If you really had an unpaid loan from 2016 it would still be on your credit report since it takes 7 years from date of last activity for a debt to fall off the report. Oh, might as well report them to your State AG, the FTC and the CFPB for violations of federal and state debt collection laws.
