It was Sidney from ATT/Direct TV wanting to provide great discounts for current customers.  She wanted my 4 digit PIN and my phone number so she could verify my account information.  Since I don't have AT&T nor Direct TV I had to make up a 4 digit PIN.  I then gave her 555-1212 as my phone number  She said it would take a few minutes to verify my information.  It was actually a very sophisticated SCAM as the recording and her canned responses were right on.  They even told me how many minutes I might have to wait until they verified my information.  I did notice that when i gave the ROBO Sidney my 4 digit pin I got a tone like I get when someone from another country comes on the line after I say "HELLO" on other calls so I'm guessing this also originated outside the US.  A SCAM by any other name is still a SCAM but this one was put together really well and it they called someone who did have ATT/Direct TV they could be fooled.
