Saying that I have a Trojan virus which needs to be fixed ASAP.

Came up in computer, says it's Microsoft and I have a Trojan virus and to call for support immediately.

Do not call this number.  It is a scam.  An ad comes up on your computer that says you have a virus and it looks like a valid Microsoft help number. You will see "computer-callcenter.com" in your browser.  The pop-up tells you to call this number immediately.  I was suspicious but I called the number just to see and a lady with an Indian accent told me she would give me some instructions and wanted me to hold down the Windows key and the "r" key at the same time.  This is the way they get into your computer and steal your information.  Do not do anything they tell you to do!
