Register.com

Received a call from 855-881-6938. According to whitepages.com's reverse phone lookup, it isn't a valid number.

If it was from Register.com, as noted by Eric, above, it follows that they didn't leave a message. In the recent past, they have called me in regard to helping me build a web site for the domain I registered through them. I told 'em to bug off (I used better language than that. Okay, okay, I used just a little better language than that).

It's from Register.com. They call every day this past week but don't leave a message. I've heard they are trying to sell web design services (I have a few domains through them). Annoying...but they can just keep reaching my voice mail.

Register dot com...  and if they keep calling, just tell them if they continue, you will transfer all of your domains to GoDaddy and that you'll blame Him/Her for it!  After about 20 times, it will finally stick.  Maybe it was 30 times ;^)

I have gotten 9 calls from this number and 9 calls from 1-855-881-6939 and 9 calls from 1-855-881-9252 at all hours of the day for the past three months, often calling multiple times a day and multiple times a week. Just because I put my phone number in a required field for domain registration does not mean that I wish to be harrassed.

This number has shown up on my cell phone more than 10 times.  Nobody there when I pick up.  Clearly an automated call system which is not legal if I am on the do not call and bother me list.

This 855- caller is relentless. They call at all times of the day and night and never leave a message.  I send the call straight to voice mail but they never leave a message.  By the above post I see that it is coming from Register.com. I have multiple web accounts with them so I may use the "switching" to GoDaddy.com if they persist.

Since posting this, I have gotten an additional 6 calls with no message left.

Please stop calling without leaving a voicemail.

Newer home phones make it easy to block 800 or 888 numbers. This number just called me, it rang once, then was automatically blocked so could not leave a message on my machine. It was blocked because I previously blocked it, immediately after they called last time, buy clicking Save on my phone, then Call Block.  

When the phone rang just now and was blocked, I was curious about who it was from, so typed in the number in online search to find out, and hit this page. I do have an account with Register.com but do not want sales calls.

Used Register dot com for a domain name and started receiving these phone calls immediately, as well as at least one email a day since (it's been less than a week and a half). Getting annoyed. May pick up the call to see if there's an opt out option. I'm bothered by the fact that they required that I leave a phone number and are using it for solicitation. And they call so often (at least once a day, sometimes three to four times).
