They left a message saying they were from revenue CANADA.

A call left on my answering machine said we owed $2 000 to the Federal Governement assestes would be sieved if we didn't pay immediatly. Please dont't send any money, let a message at Canadian Anti Fraud Center.

Un message enregistré dit que c'est l'agence du revenu du Canada des taxes et que si j'ai des questions de rappeler au 855-881-8143. Je vis au Québec et ça parle en anglais loll que j'aurais des conséquences si je ne réponds pas dans les 24h la fraude encore une fois ne vous laissé pas prendre :)

Et dans le courant de la journée un 2e appel sera laissé encore une fois automatisé vous mentionnant qu'il vous envoie quelqu'un à la maison pour saisir votre demeure, voiture et les comptes de banque!

They left  an automated message claiming to be be Revenue Canada and threatening to put a lien all assets and send a debt collector if they were not called back within 24 hours!!! Clearly fraudulent as they also would not identify by name who the call was intended for.  Do not call them back!!!!

East Indian fellow claimed to be from revenue Canada. Said there was a warrant out for my arrest. I had apparently been defrauding the government by withholding taxes since 2009. Would not disclose any details about my account & would not offer any assistance to find out any details. He got very abusive and aggressive on the phone and ended up yelling at me over & over to "get lost loser". I did & now am waiting to be arrested. I think it's a scam

The message is left on my answering machine, that I have to call Revenue Canada, and I am in trouble. I did not think for a second it was a true CR call, but my elderly relative did believe it and called them back. It was an obvious spam.  It's unbelievable that in the age of advanced technology, we can't get rid of this kind of criminals.
