I rec'd a call apparently from CRA - Fraud unit today. They left a message indicating that there were "allegations" against me and to call 1-855-881-8145 - Nicky Johnson . I called. They had an accent, were very rude, and demanded I call them back on Monday during THEIR hours 9-4, I asked them who am I calling? They said criminal investigations and then quickly repeated themselves for me to call back on Monday then I asked what is this for? they said a criminal investigation call back on Monday  during OUR hours for information", then hung up on me. I felt this was a bit shady and called back about 5 times only to get a  "busy" signal....weird.  I then googled that number. Looks like it may be in the States somewhere around Kansas?  I submitted a fraud report to CRA with the information. I will call the real CRA - Canadian ANti-Fraud on Monday. But now they have confirmation of my name so a bit worried. I bet if I call back on Monday nobody will answer. I understand there's another number they have been trying to scam people with 1-855-881-8140.

I got the same call, from the same phone number. I called real CRA , and find out- no phone call was made by real CRA

I just got the same call with the same information, from the same number.  The tone of the voice was enough to let me know that this was fraudulent.  These people are parasites!

This is nothing but a scammer. This telephone number being used for these calls is from the USA.

keep getting calls from 855-881-8145 and a automatic message is left saying from CRA please call immediately.

Get these calls everyday they should be charged for leaving such messages

Me too - as voice mail -  in early July - Nicki Johnson from CRA re "legal allegations" - at two numbers (two calls) 855 881 8145 and 877 652 6757 - sounded like a mechanized voice. Why doesn't Bell Canada do something to stop calls like this?

I too received this call from CRA.  Tried calling back and always busy.  My elderly parents also received the call and guess what my 80 year mother told them to do?  LOL!
