    we did not apply for anything. we go to our local bank where we know the people who work there

    We are on do not call list why do they bother.

    i only do this reporting thing to stop them & mainly warn others of the pilfering attempts they shouldn't fall for

    While reporting here will warn others, it does absolutely nothing towards stopping them.
    For that you need to report them to the FTC: https://reportfraud.ftc.gov/
    And (since they claim to be a lender) the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau: https://www.consumerfinance.gov/complaint/
