I received a call from this number and they stated that I defaulted on a loan I never took out I asked them for account info and they couldn't provide Anything but they did have all my information

got one on my VM threatening court.

I received a call stating I took out a payday loan in a city I haven't lived in 6 years -- they had all my information but would not provide me with any info and stated they were filing a complaint with the courts.......

I received a calling stating that a complaint had been filed against my late husband ( who has been deceased 10 years), and that if I knew where he was I was to let them know immediately.  Or they would be filing the necessary paperwork with the county clerk's office.  Some people are really stupid if they think I'll fall for this scam.

Message on VM saying they were looking for someone named Dorothy Reed (not my name) and to contact them if I know this individual. Scam call. Deleted and blocked.

I received a call stating that a complaint had been filed against me and they'll be filing the paperwork with Clark County

left threatening voice mail saying papers have been filed for my arrest in san diego county (haven't lived there since 09) they can give me any info other than I owe someone $400 when I called them
very rude and uncooperative
I did tell them im not just handing over $400 when they cant give me any info as to who I owe money to
plus when you owe someone money they know how to find you and will send you snail mail certified if they are serious
sounds like a scam bc the bank info they have is wrong and if they still show an address from 7 years they cant say they notified me so that I could pay a debt owed
cant understand the name of company no matter how many times I asked them to repeat it

I received a call with a vm stating that someone filed a formal complaint against me and they are looking for me if I have any info where i can be found, otherwise they will go to the local courts. I know that threatening legal action against a debt without intent to sue over the phone is illegal. I called back and they had all my info about a state I lived in 2 years ago. I did get a payday loan while I was in that state but I owed less than 200 on it. This company stated that I owed money to a private lending company called 'oakwood' and that I took out an online loan for 510.00. (smart to say, because anything over 500 is considered criminal.) They said that I wrote a check with intent to defraud. When I mentioned I'd go to my bank and get a copy of the statements showing no deposit whatsoever, and when I pressed for more information-who are they, etc etc he hung up on me.

To call back in order to start paper work to prosecute. Made no sense.

Caller left voicemail saying a complaint was going to be filed against me if I didn't get call him back.  He called twice and the message was the same.

Scam call! Called and left message on voice mail stating that there was a formal complaint against me. Also called my employer! I called
number back and "they could no longer accept calls".

I have recieved several calls from 855-833-1347 stating that I'm being sued or a complaint is being filed against me. No company name , just threats of arrest if I don't pay. It's a scam. I am not falling for it.

Same...this voice states a complaint has been filed against me but a recorded voice says my actual first name only and if I know where this person is I need to call immediately so papers can be filed or issued or some junk

Calling my former employer

I had the same issue today except it was for a "Kenwood Services". According to the BBB Kenwood Services is out of business. Don't let these idiots scare you. I got the same call yesterday but they got mad at me. I knew the call was a scam & look forward to it. I called them back 25 times & each time the business had a different name. I told them to keep an eye on the window to look for blue lights & a news crew when they arrived to arrest them. I told them they sounded like brothers & sisters probably working out of some garage in Georgia. It was around noon time so I told them to fire up the grill that their customers would be arriving soon for lunch. This made my day.

They use 855 area code of all kinds of different ... Anyone who wants money has to send in writing anyway !!!! Scam

I received a call about me owing a payday loan and that they were taking me to court. I told them I would be happy to wait for legal paper work in the mail. I didn't receive anything so I decided to call back about a month later just to see if I would get the same people and when I called it was a reservation company making room reservations and vacations. Asking for your card number to hold the rooms!!! So they have moved onto a new scam!!!
