Called and claimed to be a lawfirm representing Ace Cash. Called back and she said this is the final attempt to reach you calling about legal action against your social security number and they are making their final decision to move forward or to press charges for check fraud and a warrant would be served and I would be arrested at work.

Total scam.  No legitimate process server calls you up in advance and tell s you he or she is being served with papers.  In any event being in ordinary civil debt is NOT a crime and you cannot be arrested for it.  We do not have debtors prisons in the US.  Ignore and block these calls.

Called these jerks back I thought it was bull they called me about a Amex Card I had that went bad, I ignore them however they did serve me papers for court..DARN JERKS, EXCUSE MY LANUAGE BUT I NEVER KNEW I COULD BE SERVE OVER A CREDIT CARD. Do anyone know what's going to happen at court?

I deleted the  rest of the message at this point.  Just started getting these calls.  I don't remember having a loan with ACE and have not made any loans of any kind for several years.  TOTAL SCAM

What happens is I play my audio files of your buddies making empty and illegal threats, the judge signs an order granting my summary judgment motion, and your boss owes me thousands of dollars plus my legal fees for my trouble. Thus you clapperclawing blackguards, pardon my language, shall be hoisted with your own rectally inserted petards.

Consumer debt in America is not a criminal matter. Collectors do not need and cannot whistle up anyone with a badge and a gun to get themselves paid. Real law enforcers have trouble enough catching people who threaten lives and public safety, and they don't want another job chasing unproven penny-ante debts.

Lawful debt collection is a process, not an ambush. Early in that process you must be given a specific notice about your alleged debt and how to dispute it. From there, you have a right to obtain proof of claim on paper. You have a right to control when, where, and how debt collectors contact you. Federal law does not expect you to take only the word of strangers on the phone that bad things are about to happen. Do not reward lawbreakers with your money. Challenge them always, sue them if you can.
