Based on Internet look-up, it appears that the caller is a Direct TV sanctioned phone rapist...!

now they are calling my cell #.  Blocked the idiots. there is no CID

Toll free # calls everyday. Do not answer but I call back & answering service says direct tv &all reps busy but leave # for callback. I do not leave message.

Exactly, it is a total failure that the government instituted to appease the masses with their frustrations.  That is all.

Phone rang twice, I answered, no response from the caller, I hung up.

This is DirecTV selling NFL Sunday ticket. When I told them that I get my home team every Sunday plus 3 other games, I do not need it or want it. They hung up

If you have DirecTV or any AT&T product now or ever, then they do not have to abide by the DNC list. I took the call and found  out they were selling something I did not want.

Thats only if you agreed to a Policy that included giving them permission to contact you for services, promotions or products. You have to read the Policy and find where it gives you an Opt-out option.

AT&T Consumer Do-Not-Call Policy

While they are allowed to call for 18 months if you have an established business relationship, you still have the right to tell them not to call and they must abide by that.

This number called me twice, I answered second time.  He seemed to have a hard time hearing when I answered the phone.  Said he was with Directv and because I'm a loyal customer they want to give me (and this is where he started talking faster) 47 channels at no additional cost for 3 months.  I didn't continue to listen, just told him I was not interested and not to give me anything and I hung up.

just called...wasn't even curious enough to see who it was.

They start calling here very early of a morning, they call all day and into the evening.  They woke us up this morning from a sound sleep.  When they called again this afternoon I was still so mad.  When I picked up the phone, I asked if it was Direct TV she said yes it was.  I am normally a very nice and kind person, but today I was still in a bad mood from the early phone call.  I screamed as loud as I could.  I told her we were fed up with all their calls, they wake us up at least twice a week.  I told her to NEVER call here again.  I did  not give her a chance to say much, but I do feel much better after screaming at her.  We have had their calls before they want to give you some free channels for 3 months, then if you no longer want them, you call and cancel.  The thing is you have to keep track of when that promotion is over.  If you do not call at the right time they will start to bill your account for the new package. They got us on that the first time, no more for us.  I think we will find a new company for when our contract expires.

Don't recognize this number, so didn't answer. No voicemail left, which is usually spam. May have been AT&T DirectTV, but not calling back to find out.

10 calls from this number in the last two hours. CID shows Out of Area. Blocked the number. Blocked the whole 855 area code. Nothing good ever comes from 855 calls.
