I got a call from this number asking for money .not sure its liget

Called an left message. Stated was BCAA mediation’s. Looked up BCAa mediation’s and was not able to find anything regarding them. Sounds like a debt collection scam

If it has the word mediation in the company name you can be sure it is a debt collection/process server extortion scam.

Left message stating that they wanted to clarify of I was involved in something I was being accused of.

Called just now - twice. I hung up the first time. The second time I demanded the callers name, supervisor name, company address, direct phone number and met only resistance.

Was called by DCAA (aka? BCA, BCAA?) to settle a small account that had appeared on my bankruptcy 8 years ago. Negotiated a settlement. Became suspicious. I blocked card and began search of 855-897-4781

This number, someone identified as "Spencer" called me and left me a threatening voicemail stating that "my background checked showed that I did not appear to be someone that would do something like this" but that if I did not respond immediately "I would be served at home or at work". I immediately blocked the number and texted my lawyer because I do not deal with threats via. phone. Threaten me to my face that's another story, but these scam artist losers don't operate that way.

Received a VM fomr BCAA Mediation and my name was a recording adn it said trying to let me settle something before it goes further and i have been officially notified adn to call 855-897-4781.  The number that called me was 908-293-8807

A person left a message that they were from BCAA Mediation, then it said my daughter's name through a computer voice generator. Stated they had 2 complaints filed against her and for her to contact them immediately.

Called both my daughters looking for me claiming they’ve tried to contact me multiple times. Claiming that my daughter is in mediation (one of them they called)and I’m subject of interest. And that if I don’t contact them that they are going to file a summons.

Also received this call via 1-818-221-2192 as DCAA mediations stating they received two complaints about someone who has a similar name but they didn't even get my name right LOL They said to call the 855 number but I could clearly see it was the 818 number above

Same as others received a voice message telling me to contact them at the 8558974781 number before it escalates any further and I've been  officially notified.

Received the same type of call basically threading me to call them back or they would show up either at work or my home. Had same call 2 months ago.

Received a call from this number - collection scam - said I would have to appear in court.  I said ok will be there!

I got the same call today! The same name, number and allegations. I got upset when he couldn’t provide the company that I owed. He had my name, address and the last four of my SS. He gave me the amount I owed but couldn’t supply a breakdown of the amount. He just kept saying it is court cost and fees from interest. What happened to you? Did they call back? I blocked the number. I work in LE so I am assuming if there is an open case with my name, it’ll be bright to my attention rather quickly.

Total scam - IF you were going to be sued, you'd get lots of letters from a debt collector.  Then you'd receive a summons delivered by a process server - who does not call and give you a heads up of his arrival.  More information about how to tell is a debt collector is legitimate or not, here, at the FTC website:

Has called multiple times from multiple people. Always same message, I am named in a law suit as a defendant and my background doesn't match the crime. BLOCKED numbers but still upsetting

Received a call from BCAA mediation saying I owed an amount dating back about 12 yrs which includes penalties and interest. They said if I didn't pay I would have a judgement against me and possibly a lien on my house. I can't find anything about this company. I told them i never had this credit card they mentioned and they said I would still have to pay.

Called saying I was going to court for two allegations against me.  The truth is that all my bills are paid.  SCAM trying to get me to pay $873.84 on a bill paid on October 1, 2017.  National Credit Association.
