Unknown caller

Collections Agency of some kind. Checked message and caught clipped recording "important financial matter.". Traced number online and found no reference so called back. Got a recording. Gave NO business name but recording said "stay on the line for next person available". i just hung up

Collections Agency calling for someone that we don't know.  Very annoying left same message every day for the past week while we were at work.  Finally called them back and told them I own the phone number for the past ten years and nobody by that name lives here.  The address on their file is not even my address.  They did not apologize and just hung up.  Very rude people.

Called 4 times yesterday, just once so far today. Comes up as UNKNOWN so I just hang up. Don't know who it is, and unless someone on this page tells me I will never know.

Unwanred calls

I have been getting a number of calls from this number. With reference to a file number.  I finally phoned and was put on hold. I hung up. Phones again and got an answering machine. Told the my file number and that I would not answer unless I got a live person

Been calling my cell number for days 3-4 times per day. Called them back and stayed on the line until I could talk to somebody. Said look this is MY number and the person said the person they were looking for gave them this number. I said stop calling and I asked the girl if they were that stupid that they don't check a number before calling it? I don't think anyone would be that stupid either to give you a number so you can bother them 3-4 times a day. They said they'd stop doing it. No sooner than I hung up they called again and hung up. I called back and said STOP and they said oh it takes 48 hours.

Soooo i had reported their number previously. kept calling so called them back and asked "sooo you are calling me about something that's NINE YEARS OLD???? got the hang up and called me twice today. called them back and noticed calls blocked. left message and told them i knew about their lost law suit in 2014 and how they called people with debt passed legal time. .just blocking calls now because they are a joke! nice try though! lol

These joker's used to call a bunch of times a day looking for some random lady (and still do) but I put them in my call-blocker and they don't bother me anymore. I only posted here because I noticed a crap load of calls and forgot who it was lol

Will these idiots learn that most people hang up on ID's of UNKNOWN or any other term that doesn't present their names or ID's

Thanks to everybody; especially the lawsuit pdf.  They have begun to call me about a debt that had been resolved thru a "consumer proposal" I went thru and completed.  Ya just gotta love the internet.  Thanks again!

I have tried blocking but they are very annoying. I have never called them back and have no desire to. I have decent credit and don't owe anything. they gave me the #40 West Wilmont St. address which I know now after reading these is as bogus as the so-called debt.

The names which FDR agents want are connected to very old accounts. This reveals they buy "bad debts" which they now own, so they are liable. We are not liable for THEIR debt. I have no contract with any FDR agent and I have received no signed, verifiable claim. These calls are meaningless, as no one answers, in order for me to say, "put it in writing, sign it, and mail it."  Any unverified "Demand for Payment” is fraud. Don't fall for it.

I just sent FDR a fax, ordering them to remove my tel # from their lists, or else their next suit will cost them way more than the $3,000 Alberta fine they got for violating CDRPR.

This company has been calling for weeks about debt owed by someone named Clark. I answered one call and told the man on the phone that I have owned this phone # for 8+ years and know no one named Clark and to please stop calling. But they continue to harrass me. In Canada, this is against the law!

Can't something be legally done to get this outfit to STOP? Months and months of everyday calls/messages driving me crazy. I don't owe anyone money!!
