received call from local texas landline number in which  "Samantha" said there was a very important matter in their office.... or something to that effect, and left this 855-901-1310 call back number with a reference number as well..... called it and "Darren Knight" answered and I had to ask what company and he said Myers Group, and when pressed said they are mediation.
so I said I wasn't interested and he hung up....

patrick answers when you call this number??  just says is this Patrick how may I help you?  weird!!  if you work for a company you announce their name first!

This is some kind of collections - they say they are the Meyers Group - call from local number but leave the 855-901-1310 to call back.  With a reference number/several attempts to contact before it goes further etc.  They want your name, phone & social so if they have your information, they should not need to call for it.  I don't call back Kelly Lynn Jones or have my counsel call either.

I have been getting scam calls like this every few months for about three years. They call to the point of harassment (one of these scam groups called the main office of my job over 90 times in one day...even though they were told that I didn't work out of that office and they would never be able to reach me there). They tell you that you owe on a payday loan from some ambiguous loan company, and they are going to serve papers and or an arrest warrant for theft and intent to defraud a financial institution, but if you call the loan company and make a payment or make arrangements to pay they will give you a release code.to stop court proceedings. If you dispute the debt they become rude bullies saying things like "you got the loan and then 10 days later closed you account thinking that would be the end of it"...or..."most people don't pay attention to who is actually loaning them the money. Most times the place you borrowed from is a subsidiary of a largef company"...I CALL BS!!! These people use threats, harassment, intimidation, and lies to seperate you from your money...all of which is illegal. Even scarier is that often when they call they have you address social...in my case...they have my parents, brother's, sister's, and husband's names! Worse still there is more than one group running the same scam. It's as if one group goes down a list, and everyone they are unsuccessful in scamming they sell that list to the next group to try and so on. I have had ones with Persian accents...African accents...ghetto not so fabulous. They threaten to show up at my home and where ever it is they think I am employed and their information is ALWAYS outdated. The other scam they run is they put a couple of hundred dollars in your account snd then every two weeks take out tge finance fee. They try to make the numbers low enough so that the extra money makes you think your accounting is off, and so that they can slowly bleed your account in small amounts hopes that you won't notice. UGH...Makes me fall squarely on the NRA side and exercise my right to bare arms!!!

I received the same message on my phone about 10 times and to my job as well.  When i called back it was some guy named sam..So i called back and asked to be connected to ext 317 and no one ever answered.. I then called back again and no one ever answered the phone at all it just kept ringing...The message i received was from a kim johnson from the myers group ext: 317....

Same here except mine was from a kim johnson ext: 317....She said she got my file on her desk and that she needs to talk to me..It has my name and birth date on it...

I think that these people need to find a real job...I understand that people sometimes cannot pay back some bills or loans, but it comes to a point where they are calling your work harrassing you. That is too much...I have had this happen to me before and i had to get the police involved and change my number...

Called me from a new Orleans  number  told me they had questions  for my sis ....he didn't  want  to give me no information  so my sister  could  contact  them back myers  group

Has called me from a West Palm Beach #(561) advising me if I don't call back by the end of business day they will take further action. Told.me to call him at 855-901-1310.

Two calls in past two days...one on home phone, one on cell. I don't give my home phone out to anybody.  Says they need a statement from me regarding a debt I have.  I need to call or have my attorney call.

I called the number that was left.  It was the Meyers Group, a collection agency I believe.  They were looking for my ex of 17 years ago.

Samantha Madison called from 818-538-5895 and said she is calling about a very serious matter in their office. Gave the call back of 855-901-1310 and a file number. When I called it they answered Meyer Company. I know from prior experience that this is a SCAM business name so I hung up. So.....sick of this.

I just received a call from 626/551-4826 wanting me to call 855-901-1310 regarding allegations against me from today. Don't know who they are and they did not state. just wanted a statement from me or my attorney

Just got a call  from 818-538-5895  on my cell and said he is calling about a very serious matter in their office. Gave the call back of 855-901-1310 and a file number. When I called it I talked to a man and he said he didn't anything what was going on. I told him to remove my name from his list because I knew it was a scam, he asked me for my phone number and I told him that I wasn't going to him him any information and that my number would be in the caller ID and hanged up the phone.  Immediately my phone started ringing he call twice one after another other. He didn't leave a message so I called the number in my caller ID and it was from Kenneth Davis to press 0 to talk to the operator.  I than called 818 538-5895) to talked an operator answer and said that it is a none working number.  I'm sick of these people that nothing better to do than to scam honest people. I know from prior experience that this is a SCAM business name so I don't answer if my I don't recognize who is calling when my phone says the name in my caller ID, but they leave a message on my voice mail,  So.....sick of this, I get it on my house phone and my cell.

I have received calls from "Samantha Madison"at (951) 394-4727 & "Rick White" at (951) 374-1575 on behalf of "The Meyers Group" threatening legal action if I don't return their call. I called the number they left in their voicemails to me, (855) 901-1310, & it was for "Mr. West." I didn't leave my name or any personal information, just the "file number 287422" that they had referred to in their messages for me to use qhen returning their call. "Mr. White" had also previously left two voicemail messages on my Mother's home phone. After I left the message on "Mr. West's" (855) 901-1310 voicemail, I decided to look up the "Meyers Group" online, where I immediately  found out that IT IS A SCAM, A TOTAL FRAUD!! I'm so VERY thankful for finding all of the postings, warnings & alerts about the "Meyers Group" (may also be spelled "Myers," "Mayers," Meiers"). Apparently they've done this in Louisiana & Pennsylvania as well, & probably in other states, too!  Other names associated with the "Meyers Group" include, but probably not limited to, "Johnathan West," "Mr. Davis," "Kenneth Davis," "Maggie Hart," "Macky Hart," & "Susan Ferrales." BEWARE of them!!
