This company keeps calling me looking for someone else n

The voice is a garbled man that sounds they are talking through a megaphone.  I'm sick and tired of these threatening calls and want it stopped.  He said he got paper work he wants to review with someone that no longer lives with us.  How can we stop these calls?  Every single day they leave messages on the answering machine.

Call blocker. One that enables you to block entire area codes is quite beneficial.

called me on my phone with a private number. they left a voicemail saying its for "william schifier" (i think thats how you spell it.). i haven't called back

calling twice a day faking to be a debt collector. Language used is not from a true collection agency, scam

They're getting smarter, I get calls for "Amber Brown" (not my name, not anyone I know or am related to) from a local area code, but they leave this number as a callback number, asking to talk to me or my representative.  Local number does not come back as a scam.

I don't have any outstanding debt, and I've *never* taken out a payday loan.

They have people call from different local numbers, wanting people never associated with my number, to call them at 855-909-0440

I get the same type of calls, doing the same thing to me. And, I also don't have any outstanding, and have never taken out a payday loan and never will.

This number just keeps calling and started doing it out of nowhere. I am honestly a nearly debt free citizen, and because of the that, small amount of debt I do have is undeniably handled by me. However, I do have student loans, but I am also in a payment program through the government. So, with that said, there is absolutely no reason why a debt collector should even be near any of my personal information. Thanks.

Wrong number call from 936-585-6200. Left voice mail. Said, more or less, need to call back about a personal matter that needs to be addressed by the end of the business day. Call back # 855-909-0440.

855-909-0440 called my phone today (April 11, 2018), at 6:38 A.M.  If this is truly a debt collector, it just broke the law. The FDA regulations mandate collections calls cannot be made that early in the morning.

What does the Food and Drug Administration have to do with it?

TIM CAVAHAUGH left a voicemail from a 619-821-2817 number but  855-909-0440 xt 313 call back number and said I had a complaint against me in San Diego. I needed to call at that 855 number. I have no clue what it's about.

is this number a scam? claiming owe money for a loan that has been paid years ago also calling others evan at their work for me.

I see the answer to that question has been posted several times in this thread.  Even more importantly, the information you need to know about what to do has also been posted.  If you are not willing to read that information, then there is no reason to repost it again.
