Scam student loan message

Thanks, thought it was a scam but wanted to check!

Very much a scammer.  If you call back and even ask what the name of their company is  they hang up.  I called back and tried a different approach.  They ask how much you owe.  I said over $50K, I asked if they could help with loan forgiveness, they hung up.  Called one last time, funny that they don't answer after that.  My last call I dialed the number 2 after their recording answered and it puts your name on their do not call list (supposably).

I hate that they waste my time, but if I can keep those idiots on the phone, it keeps them from calling someone else and defrauding them, so I don't mind a little cat and mouse for a bit.  These people are the worst!

Caller left an irrelevant message about student loans. I am on a do not call list.

Thank you for the info....... I kind of thought this was a scam, because the number they called is not even in my updated files anymore.

“Hi there I am calling you from AT&T DIRECTV to let you know that your existing account is qualified for 50% off in order to avail the discount kindly call us back at 855-917-0518 from 8 AM till 9 PM Pacific standard time thank you and have a great day…”

THEY APPARENTLY HAVE A NEW SCAM. 🙄
