so, it started with a call from 9045521987 whom told me i was going to be served and their "delivery driver" was going to be at my door to hand business, i asked what about and she "couldn't disclose but i wouldn't sign off on this if i were you sir, its serious" she then gives me this number to call 855-917-6235 and I noone gives names, they just answer the phone "law office" or "romney and associates" they asked if i were who they were calling for and they supplied my name, they then talk about some business that I supposedly did with a company in 2014.  Admittedly I had done business with this company but well before 2014 and it didn't end negatively, so this whole thing is suspect from the first words coming out of this jerk's mouth.  What they didn't know is that I used to be what they are now about a decade ago.  I used ride the grey line and manipulate words and people's fears so they'd pay some stupid predatory lender's bill.  Even if I had done business with these folks and left them holding the bag, it was more than 13 years ago since I had done so, and I also know that the statute of limitations is but a few years in Florida.  In the end, had they just stop trying to swing their fictitious AutH0riTy around and attempted to had any form of intelligent conversation instead of calling me an idiot, maybe we coulda figured out if this was something legit.  Instead they lied over and over about things I did, so I kept calling back and talking to whomever would answer the phone and wasted as much time as I was willing to waste to prevent them from trying to scam someone else.  Life is so much better getting away from that stupid "collections" life, man.  You all deserve better than to line the "boss's" pockets.  Know your worth, toss the headset and walk away.
