- Alert one| 6 repliesWe are getting calls from this number multiple times per day. The message is "Costco Citi Card" however, when you call the number on your card (NEVER EVER call the same number that calls on these scams) we are told
CITI does not call you
CITI does NOT lease you a personal code #
So beware, this is a bogus call.
The other number they call from is:
904-525-8137- Caller: BOGUS call - claiming to be CITI CostCo card
- Call type: Telemarketer
- PeterReceived voice mail message from 855-926-5154. I was instructed to call that number and enter a 6 digit code. The caller identified himself as from the Citi-Costco credit card

- JI've received several calls and voicemails in the last week from a robo voice claiming to be calling from Costco Anywhere Citi card. The automated call has taken two different forms. They have my name and when I take the call in person, they want me to enter my zip code. I have hung up as no call like that should ever request information from the recipient (phishing scam). When they leave a voicemail, they give me a phone number to call back (1 855 926 5154) with an ID code to use when I call back. I almost got convinced that this could be legit so I rang the number on the back of my costco citi card, and asked them about it. They had no record of their corporation trying to give me a call. Lucky I checked! (It was also fortunate that I checked since I didn't realize that my automatic payment had not transferred over from the Am Ex Costco card. I was able to set it up with the legit rep on the phone).

- JayThe (855) 926-5154 number IS from Citibank, but ALWAYS use the phone number printed on your credit card to call them to avoid phishing. The code that I was given the first call couldn't be found by the Company's customer service helper, but the second call's code WAS GOOD.
Again, it is a prudent habit to ONLY USE THE PHONE NUMBER PRINTED ON YOUR CREDIT CARD TO CALL to avoid possible fraud.- Caller: Citi Bank for your Costco Anywhere Card
- George replies to Alert oneI got this call at my home & place of business saying that it was regarding "Costco Citi Card" also. It's a SCAM!!! They asked for my bank routing number, so I hung up. You're right ... CITI does not call you!
- HaroldMy office keeps receiving calls from 855-926-5154 and leaves a message about our Citibank Costco Card along with a code to dial in. When you call the number, it's busy.
- Caller: Citibank Visa Costco Card
- CecileI have gotten 2 calls from 855-926-5154 in the last 2 days stating they are Citibank calling about my Costco card. They gave me two separate numbers to reference period a different one each time. I figured it was a scam and I'm glad to have it confirmed here but I guess the people are at it again.

- Nanette Dorner replies to Alert oneCalled me too. Thought I'd check this website out. Thanks-I almost thought it could be real.
- JimSame as all the above.
- almost fell for it replies to Alert oneI am also receiving these calls. Verified my name but hung up after being asked to give my zip code.
- Shiroh niichanI got calls every day for someone else asking me to call back and enter a 6-digit code for a message regarding my Citibank Costco card. I called back from a different phone and kept pressing "0" until I got an operator. I told her there was no one at my phone number by the name they had and asked her to remove my phone number. I'll find out tonight if my complaint got them to stop calling.

- Just Mehad 3 messages on my office phone from Costco Citi Bank. My work number isn't even on my account info. Called back to see what the scam was.....the recording asked me to enter my card # or social security # on the key pad. I feel sorry for the folks who fall for this stuff, and wish the Government would HAMMER THEM.
- Red CloudThey are still at it. Dec. 26th, 2017 (Maybe Santa was not kind to them?)

- EllenI've gotten two calls on my answering machine in the past couple of days from Citi Bank. They ask me to call 855-926-5154 and then put in a personal key code they gave me. I decided to call the number that is on my Citi bank card statement. They didn't know anything about that number, so I figured it's a scam. Got another call the next day to call back with a different personal key code. I decided to look the number up on the WEB and came across this website which I am grateful for. It verified my conclusion that this must be a scam. So thank you for sending in those letters people.

- JCI was left a voice mail to call back 855-926-5154 using a 6 digit reference number. The robo caller identified them self as Costco Citibank Anywhere card services. I contacted the Costco Citibank customer service first using the phone number from my Visa card. The cust. svc. rep. checked my account and found no unusual activity or out outing contact from Citibank. She then checked with their fraud dept. and they were not aware of anything either. I called the 855-926-5154. It had my correct info. I only entered my zip code to gain access. It had the same billing and payment info as the verified Citibank Visa rep. I believe in my experience it was a contact to verify if your payment is late or pending. You are give options to make a payment or verify your payment was already submitted. We had made an electronic payment the previous day and the real Citibank rep. verified it was still pending. I would say this is a legit Citibank contact but NEVER give your personal info to any unsolicited caller or contact. Always contact customer service using a verified safe number or email address.

- Cathy replies to Alert oneI did not call this number back, but called the number on the back of my Citi Costco card. I did have a past due bill on this new card. They said I signed up for paperless when I got the card in December and I missed or did not receive the bill. This is why I don't sign up for paperless - I need the paper bill. I have changed to mail and she waived the late charge.

- Cvk| 1 replyI called the number on my credit card and Costco confirmed that the 855-926-5154 was from them. Apparently I was late in my payment which I was unaware of, and they left that number with the personal key code so I can make payment arrangements.
