I was contacted by email that $396 was taken out of my account and sent via., PayPal to "Springfield Armory" the following phone number 1-855-948-3665 was requested I call in this matter. I called this number, and an operator came on and told me she would assist me in getting the funds returned to my account. Overa period of an hour and a half the operator asked me all my account and personal business. I felt that Pay Pal was asking these questions to be sure of who I am and how to return the funds to my account. Little did I know, this operator was using my information to set up and account to scam me out of the money. The company that allegedly received the $398 was called "Springfield Armory" . I became suspicious and called my bank. I went in and changed all my documents.,

Mine happened yesterday. He claimed to be a representative of Amazon Prime and could help me with my account being canceled! I called their number on the Prime website and got this foreign-sounding guy. I should have known when he wanted to download AnyDesk and then he took over my computer and started copying my credit card numbers. The only thing that saved me is that I pay on my credit cards then I use them to live on the rest of the month and by the time the middle of the month arrives I'm lucky if I have $20 in each of them. He tried to get $150 from green dot!!! Guess he was s.hyt out of luck! :)

Instead of going to the actual Amazon website which would have been the smart thing to do you let someone into your computer?  Well don't worry because as soon as you pay those cards off he will get whatever is available now that you allowed him to put malware on your computer.

Great way to make an old lady feel better. I am declaring all my cards lost/stolen and taking my computer in for a thorough cleaning! I don't care if they wipe everything completely off. You can bet I will NOT fall for a scam like that again!
