Claimed they had "legal documents" to serve/sign but not what for. Refused to identify themselves other than "Amherst Legal". Called State Police and they took a full report. They too contacted the phone number and said they were getting random names and it did not sound legit either.

10/10 scam call.

Got same phone call from same number. Threatening someone going to serve papers. Identified themselves as amhurst legal.  Mans name was Mike wells. We spoke with him. Got him to send email. No such firm exists. We called the physical address and did some digging. There is no such place at this address.  Checked email address and they reporting that someone is using that scam. Called our lawyer. Hes on it.  People are evil.

Other then giving you a big bill what do you think that your lawyer can do to a nonexistent company with a fake address?  One other thing, what was the address that they gave you?
