Got a green card which I ignored then a pink card.  I called they started asking questions from a voice prompt, I started saying no to the questions then it became confused.  I knew then it was a scam. Going to send the card to the State Attorney General with a complaint.  I hate this invasion of privacy.

Recently refinanced my mortgage, got this link postcard. It is not from anyone affiliated with my lender. Research tells me it’s a mortgage protection program so that your mortgage gets paid off if you die. Who knows if they’re even legitimate, but you won’t be alive to know if they do what you paid them to do.

Received a pink postcard that said “All information provided by National Info Center. Not affiliated with, nor endorsed by XXX Loan Company.” Seemed suspicious so I searched up the phone number and it does not show up on XXX Loan Company’s website.

These companies usually are selling mortgage life insurance. If you die they pay your mortgage.
Legit, but usually overpriced. After all, the longer you liv,e the less they need to pay out and the premiums likely stay the same.

Even if it isn't a scam, it's a rip off. Better off with ordinary term life.
